-Lakai-Owen-
these are amazing, some of the best shoes i've skated.
[close]
Better than Vans slips?
[close]

yeah.

in my 6-7 years of consistently skating vans, i honestly don't know if i've ever skated the slip on pros, but these are great, the cushioning is perfect.

[close]

Are they true to size? I usually wear a 9.5 in cts and 10 in emericas, what size do you recommend?

true to size

Adidas Ronan...approximately 8 hours on this pair.  The bumper is doing its job.  This is the last pair of these in my shoe stash.  Gonna miss these guys.  Gonna skate em into the ground.
Got A pair of the roger collab ones, still in the box , cant bring myself to skate them cause i know they will be gone forever.

My bad for the huge ass photo.
The canvas feels thicker than on normal era's. A slab of shoe goo on the ollie area and kickflip area and they're good to go.

I looked these up for shits n' giggles, cheapest I found was $115 and $130... Also they're authentics. "This guy is like the best drawing on them..."

I don't get it.

I feel it would be easy as shit to just buy a bunch of white vans, scribble the bullshit on them, print the picture on the tongue, and make a regular amount of money off them.

Fucking Awesome hoodies alone are like 80. What did you expect? We are in the age of price=prestige.

On a related note I got the DC Mikey Taylors in all-black for 20 bucks at Ross. Gonna fuck with them for a while so I can keep all my Nikes fresh for spring/summer. These are the first DC cupsole I've owned since Mantecas in 7th grade. (I got the Wes Kremers a while back but they are a bit thin for me. Super comfortable though.)

Yea, started skating a pair of figgy's last week. The outsole feels great, but I immediately was inclined to replace the insole, which is real flat and devoid of anything remotely approaching arch support.

My third pair of Etnies Marana Vulcs. I have a pair of Marana E-lites coming in tomorrow, so i'll be skating those since these vulcs are about blown out.

very wise choice. my only complaint is that the sole is kinda like a magnet for small stones.

These feel great! Got a solid 4 hours in and it did like nothing to the toe cap besides put a handful of light scratches in it. And they are now broken in enough for me. Which is good. Trying to break in new shoes, and a new setup at the same time is the worst.
I wasn't expecting to enjoy this this much. I usually stick to Vulcs.

That's the worst. I dreaded that on my Adidas Lucas and Nike One shots. Those had it especially bad. I pretty had to put on my skate shoes at the spot. This may not be that much of an issue in places like California, where people drive everywhere and everything is paved but where I live, you deal with a shitload of pebbles. Everywhere.

After hearing you and others talking about how good the blazer is. I'm really thinking about getting some. The skated one in your picture still looks very solid, minus the ollie hole.
I'm sure it's been asked, but how do they fit? True to size? Is there a long break-in period?

They are the best, better then a half cab even. Nike should be giving you free shoes at this point, you've promoted the hell out of that shoe.

Picked these up because i needed something to skate right out of the box as a in between shoe. I didn't feel like breaking in a pair of gatos I'm sitting on. I have to say i am very surprised at how well they skate. Definitely the best pair of hufs i have had
