maybe my feet are just shaped weird for that shoe but i actually didnt like the lucas 1, the thin side walls hurt when i would ollie and the sole had a weird bend to it. always wanted the white suede ones anyway

Nah, you're feet aren't weird it's just specific shapes/stitching/whatever don't work for every foot.  I can't wear most nike or a lot of huf shoes for this reason, even though a lot of people love them.  They just don't fit my feet right ( usually too narrow/flat ).  I don't think there is one shoe that will work for everyone.

Kinda miss the classic bulk shoe, like the fallen Chris Cole rippers. A perfect medium of protective bulk and vulc. These thin shoes be hurting even with footprints sometimes

I have considered spraypainting shoes before, but I have concerns about the solvent soaking in the materials and how it will affect my feet. My feet are already sweat, mix that with paint solvent and I predict result of bad smell at least. Anyone can share experience?

hope not! skating the all blue ones and they feel real nice for kickflips, nice and pointy. seem to be holding up well. insoles were horseshit though, put some old vans in.

Anyone care to offer up opinion on the avclassic lows? Tried on an old pair of AV sk8 lows I have in my collection and realised how much I like the toe box on them, figured the classic would be similar

I had a pair, mostly for chilling but every time i stepped on my board with them they felt really nice. I found that the sizing was .5 big and if you have skinny feet like me then I would definitely size down. They fit really nicely and even with the really rounded toe they still flicked nicely. Only con is that they stretched (mine were canvas)
