Yep....dunks are safest.....then maybe Blazers....sk8 his...Evan smiths....chucks....chucks lace up nice and high though....

Maybe look at a busenitz high if you can find it....E's has a model....jerry Hsus.

Look at getting a good insole too...

im going to start skating soon, i know hi shoes are bad for your ankles in the long run, but in the beginning i just want some shoes that i wont roll my ankle in. so what shoe would be the most secure/stable?

evan smith hi
blazer hi
chuck hi
dunk hi
sk8 hi

feel fre to give me recommendations.

The non-Ishod Dunk Low would be your best bet, I think. Theyre really snug and very supportive on the ankle. Sort of like the first tosh Emerica. Hi tops don't do shit except protect from banging your ankles. And look cool.

The new Hsu is garbage fyi. No support, super floppy, thin, etc..

Just started skating these, got them for $25, feels like it's 1994. No tongue straps though, only downside.

Damn, that's unfortunate.  I didn't have any issues with my Romeros and I'm a huge Hsu fan so I wanted to give those a try.

thanks but hi tops are always gonna have more support if you tie them tight? but none of these shoes exist in norway. looks like im gonna have to order them. is the dunk hi tts, and do blazer lo´s fit the same as blazer hi´s?

actually its better to rock no insole. puts you lower to the ground.

The mid. It's probably the wost shoe I've skated in 22 years. Also, that Emerica tread pattern is super slippery.

I'd say tts, although I had went up .5, from an 8.5 in almost everything to a 9 because they did feel a bit narrow at first.  But if you do that when they break in they may feel a bit loose, so that's the tradeoff.  That was my experience with them.  Length was def tts for me, as in my normal size would have been fine length wise, width felt slightly narrow at first so I bumped up .5 but after break in I wished I hadn't.

Again, this was just my experience and all feet are different

HUF Soto

Just bought these, and I know I've said it in a couple other threads, but holy shit I'm stoked on these!!!

If anyone was thinking about grabbing a pair, don't hesitate. Skated them for about an hour or so today, and I'm in love.

If you have been skating in them for a couple months I think they have held up fairly well.

After skating them for a while, is the toe area still stiff for you?

they were pretty snug at first, so they broke in rather quickly
