there was also a waxed canvas/ laced boat shoe too wasn't there? I had a pair in brown

Yep. And then the laced dress shoe.

He mentioned offhandedly in an interview that he was working with Huf to make some more pro models (a unisex high top was one I think).  I wonder if those will ever see the light of day or if that line got scrapped.

Has anyone noticed the new, thinner lunarlon insoles are better than the thicker, softer ones that they used to make? Had some ctas in 2014, just got a pair of one stars and so far the insole isn't packing down as quickly.

that is good news then! i hated the lunarlon insoles in my converses sooooo much after skating in them three times....every fucking session i had a different sized shoe because once the insole would pack down so much and other times was insanely bouncy feeling!

To all those who debated the finer points of my dumb pair of Dunks: I finally took them to the griptape today... for like 10 minutes. They are comfortable like no other shoe I've ever wore, and very stable... but the soles are way too slippery! They give no traction at all. So I'm definitely not wearing them for skating. Bleh. Maybe on the next roll of grip I try again.

I tend to run my lunarlons through multiple shoes, by the newer ones do you mean the ones that dont have the black fabric across the whole insole?

Also just throwing it out there but Es put up a post of STi Energy foam insoles being sold separately, anyone try these out/ compare to lunarlon?

Probably better. eS used to make the best separate retail insoles back in 2003-06. Shit, they were ahead of their time in so many ways.

Thanks to Kelly Hart/Sole Tech. The suede is smooth, might try to give these a go soon.

It would be nice if they just put them in their shoes. The stock insoles are trash and are often unremovable.

Bought some Koston 3's at the outlet. Was hyped on them but they were kinda tight on the toe box so I thought about microwaving them to break in faster.
I ended up blowing the left zoom air unit on the insole. Now they feel like a flat tire.  :'(

I think I will go to the outlet again and change the insole for a new one on the pairs that are there. I just hope I dont get caught.

Any chance of just asking for a replacement? That is, if the insole doesn't smell like Hot Pockets and sweet popcorn...

They run for 150euros here, but they are at 85 in the outlet. It's a great discount if you ask me. They feel like the future in your feet.

I thought about that, but I'm afraid they would get them to the warranty or something similar. My girlfriend tried to replace some shoes once that had a defect and the guys didnt wnated to replace them until they were checked by their "team". That could last 1 month to get a new pair, or not even get anything if they thought it wasnt a defect problem.
