How are these? Haven't seen anyone wearing these where I live.

As for driving shoes if you want to have skater inspired shoes, someone was selling some Dylan slip-ons   that might fir the bill..

I’m a big fan. I was skating the LL Pros for awhile and wanted something new without straying away too far. They’re pretty similar other than the grip and toebox but for me they feel really good.
Those look sick. Shoes that have been skated in and thrashed up have so much character. I usually keep the shoes that get annihilated cause they inspire me to skate more. How long did you skate the black/black ones?

About a month of pretty consistent skating. I could milk them for longer if I wanted to but overall if I can get a solid month of good performance out of a shoe I’m satisfied.

Ghaha sorry i thought this is the LL shoe..

They have a similar silhouette but I dig the black pair. The shape looks like it has a good flick

Got this pair of hideous long-haired GT Blazers that I assume were samples or something, hit them with the lint shaver and they turned out pretty nice (top shoe is how they came, bottom shoe is them now)

found a pair of these in my closet and chucked them on seeing as though the vegan skate shoe market is pretty bleak at the moment and my other two pairs of skate shoes in rotation are getting quite haggard.
I'm not even remotely hard on my shoes and yet these took a beating after just one little session on front my house. Tis a pity because the break in time is non-existent and I really like the feel of the soles...

Impish sausage is definitely gonna blow up as a euphemism this year

I was thinking about skating a pair of those but I haven’t owned them since I was like 12 years old... worth it?

Yeah for sure if you can find a good price on them, do it! They're kinda chunky but definitely slimmer and thinner than an OG Accell or something. I've skated them a bunch of times and at first they felt clumsy, but once I broke them in and added a better insole, they actually feel great. And it's super fun and funny to look down at them. I think I'm gonna keep them as chillers but maybe try and find another pair to skate. Don't think they'll last super long to skate in though.

Definitely not, if they're anything like the original Ones from the 90's. Those shoes became almost unwearable after 5 minutes of skating when I had a pair back then. I had the green with tan stripe. The stitching on the stripe ripped instantly and the whole shoe opened up. The folks were not happy about that one... no sir.

I don't remember if it was the same model, but a local kid had a pair of Nikes that had this material but they were brown-ish. It straight up looked like they were made out of a teddy bear.

Found those Riley for real cheap.
First pair of Lakai since a least 5 years but happy to support them again.

I liked mine a lot. They're a bit narrow at first but I got over that. They're really light too, which besides the price was one of the reasons I wanted to try them out. The only complaints I've seen is that some people say they lack support for a cupsole but didn't really didn't have any issues.

Old skool pros.
On sale @ Zumiez online.
Fit really well which is hard for me @ sz7. Usually can't find my size or they are too wide.

OTOH I got some Emerica Romeros the same size that were oddly way too narrow even though the length was ok. They were uncomfortable as he'll so they are going back. Eventually. After the 'Rona I guess.

Posted these before when they were new but just started skating these spanky g6s. Had a couple of 2 hour sessions, tons of kickflips each. Loving them although the lace protection is crap. Have a feeling I'm gonna go through a lace a session which is a bumer. They are great otherwise.

sick. Still want a pair. How’s the cushion - anything comparable? Fit/shape similar to other Emerica/wino slips?

They have the same sole as the reynolds g6 so the cushion is great. The shape is like a slightly wider romero laced shape (never had the winos but probably wider than that). I could imagine it being too wide for someone with super narrow feet but its perfect for my medium width feet. If you want a super basic upper with a thicker sole, these are your shoes.

Those Spanky G6 would look pretty nice with leather laces. Go for it.

Are they meant for skating? Read they are a single piece of leather or something like that.

You n me are the same size bud. The Romero’s do start off tighter then a nuns cooch but you can either cut out the straps on the tongue or bear it for a day or so. After that they’re like slippers

Any experiences with the new Vans insole? I don't skate anymore, but the ultracush insoles make my back hurt when I wear the shoes. How are the new ones different?

Hmm idk exactly, I’m gonna skate them tho. But these days I do a lot of shit that doesn’t really damage shoes much; like shuv it’s with no pop. I am gonna super glue the little bit of stitching it has by the ollie area.
