old schools i needed a half a size larger

what about slip on pros?

shit is stupid. my aves fit normal size, rowleys too.
I had to go 1/2 size up on slip on pros , I think they retooled the fit on the classic pro line

Got these in the mail today! They feel super good and comfy. I went outside and skated for ten minutes on my "break" and it felt amazing

Those are the first Emericas that have really caught my eye in a while. How's the boardfeel on those? I remember the Reynolds G6 sorta lacking in that regard and I'm aware that those also have the G6 sole.

The boardfeel is great. But I also had no problems with the reynolds g6 so take that with a grain of salt. The sole is virtually the same as that.

I've only been able to skate them for a short amount of time, but I like the boardfeel on them. I usually skate thin cupsoles so this is perfect for me. I do think that they have the same exact sole as the Reynolds G6s too, which I haven't skated

Does anyone have any insight on the fit of the Louie Lopez cons? I know Converse sizing can be a little all over the place.

1 size down from what you'd wear in anything else. also watch out for the leather ones... whatever they're using is wayyyy too soft on the pair i have. burned a hole through them in probably about 2 weeks.

I wear them in 10 as with every other Cons other than CTAS, which I do 9.5. Generally do 10.5 in other brands.

Damn. I got 3 different answers to this question. I might just have to wait until I can go in a shop and try them on in person. But thanks for the info regardless!

How do the one star slip-ons fit? I have a wide foot, so for the vans slip on and Emerica wino slip, I went up a half size to 12. Should I do a size 12? I wear a 11.5 regular.

I dunno, I tried on the Louies true to size and they felt pretty dang long. Even half a size down I have an okay amount of room for what is sort of a narrow shoe.

Here's an awkward pic of me touching the end of my toes in a size 10 LL Pro and a 10.5 Vans Slip On Pro for scale.

This is crazy, I'm #ttsgang. I got them half size down when they came out because cons, but they're too tight.

Maybe I'm just crazy. For what it's worth I prefer my shoes to be pretty snug. If they're too long I can't flip my board for shit.

Shout out for being able to dbl toe touch. I need that. Dunno how you snapped the pic.
To me that shoe would be a little big, I use to cram my feet into shoes a size too small, on some ‘it’s gonna help me flip’. It didn’t. And it made running out of anything taller than a curb height in drop look like a fire walking exercise

If anything half size down from tts. Converse site says tts but they’re too loose that way. In my opinion they’re good shoes but they bag out quicker than Vans or Nike slips.

Emerica omen hi cos they were 50% off, lockdown has me impulse buying and my old ankles like being protected.

High top feels pretty stiff out Of the box but breaking in nicely.

First “not vans” in a while.....

Just got these today. I grew up rocking the lo cut and I'm in love with them. Super comfy and look like they'll skate great! Plus they were only $25 on the house website. Bought 2 pair!

I respect your willingness to rock an uncool shoe

I’ve been wearing these around the apartment to break them in before I start skating them
