maybe anyone can help out with some info on this:

need to know if these models are tts or not(if not bigger/smaller?) cause i saw some deals

-half cab skates(with the ollie pad)-i tried some on a year ago and they felt big to me
-dc lynx zero
-emerica gamma & temple

thanks in advance if anyone replies

I have a pretty standard foot. Not too wide and not too skinny as an FYI. Maybe slightly wider than some (200lbs at 5'10")

Vans Skate models all seem to run TTS but are more snug than Pro lines. Some may go 0.5 up, but not necessary for the most part.

DC Lynx Zero - described as TTS from some folks BUT I had to go 0.5 up in my pair (as I tend to with many models from DC, except for Kalis, Lynx, and Stevie OG). I'd say 0.5 up.

Emerica Gamma (non-G6 sole) runs TTS to 0.5 small. I have to go 0.5 up in these like I did with the Figgy Dose & Alcove CC (both of these use the same sole. Now, if you find the Gamma G6 (Julian Davidson) that shoe is 100% TTS.

They were fresh out the box. Once they leave the house they will come off at the front door.

Back to the 00s...D3s are even bigger than I remember. Bought these as occasional wear semi-ironic chillers, not sure if i'll ever actually wear them, but they're comfy as hell.

It looks like you have these on your hands lol I can't unsee it
[close]

Fucking thanks! can't unsee it now either  :o

So many questions......those are the OG ones right? Not the D3 2001 thing? Wild
I got an unworn pair in my size of the OG ones for 20€ like 7 years ago and still don't know why and what to do with them

yeah these are the OGs, as far as I could tell from a bit of Youtubing after the fact, they're the same volume/puffiness as they were way back when, whereas the D3 2001 reissue doesn't have as much bulk around the ankle.

I wore them out for the first time on Saturday morning - was quite comical, had to alter my gait a little to stop them from rubbing together as i walked! couldn't imagine driving in them lol. It's insane to remember that most skate shoes were exactly this bulky back then...feels a bit like walking around with snowboard boots on. Super comfortable though. The laces are pretty much pointless, almost impossible to get tight or near it with the design and infrequency of the lace loops...skating in these would be like playing ankle russian roulette.

Totally worth it though, a 6yo kid was absolutely transfixed by them, told me they look like Transformers  ;D

Foot-knuckle zone is a little tight, but I think it will loosen up. I've had the Grossos before and loved them.

Thanks for the heads up.   Foot knuckle tightness is my biggest shoe issue

There's a plastic heel cup on the bottom of the 3d. It feels a little more supportive.

Skating my second pair in a row of the canvas high top Last Resorts.  They’re such a good skate shoe.  Almost feel formed to your feet like a ballet slipper or something.  Didn’t replace the insoles on the last pair and managed to skate them until I completely wore through the bottom without my feet dying.

I know they got some weird shit on the side but for $20 Anaheim 36’s go. What’s the main difference between 36’s and old schools? They definitely fit better. But it could be just in my head

A year back and came full circle through Vans/vulcs all the way back to buying puffy cupsoles. Ok, these aren't 2000's puffy but they ain't slim. If anyone was wondering what the differences were between a Spanky G6 and Manteca (dunkalike?)...just one day chilling on the Spanky's (I live in a dusty environment!) and new DC's.

Unapologetic shoes and gear nerd deep into my 3rd era of skateboarding every day.

I think the area on the 36s that you lace up is longer and possibly wider than the old schools. That'll give you a different fit depending on how you lace them. Really liked my 36 pros I had a couple years ago.

Got the half cab free mag shoe early so I decided to show them off. Bonus: my sons legs and my own weird ankles.

Emerica Pillars. Never owned a pair of Emericas despite the fact that Stay Gold is one of my favorite videos. Skated them for the first time yesterday and I'm liking them so far.

I liked those but I wish the swoosh was more reflective and the toe cap wasn’t that bulbous CK1 all court kind

just had these custom made .. took a nyjah and a stan smith golf shoe as my new golf sneaker .. the guy did a great job .. i know there’s a lot of golf hate on this forum but they can make a custom shoe out of almost anything (in essence, it’s just a sole swap)
