My parents sent me a (digital) newspaper clipping:

In my buttfucknowhere hometown a cat ran away from another cat and slipped into a cracked ventilation grid below a concrete staircase. Apparently it wouldn't/couldn't come out so the fire fighters broke (?!) part of the staircase side wall to get into the space beneath where the cat was. A fireman crept in to get the kittie and it got scared and bolted, right out the broken side and off to who knows where and its been missing since.

I gave a cigarette to a kid at the skatepark and a grandmother over hear him asking for one came over and told him he was going to die if he smoked and I laughed.

I had to take my father for surgery today and just have been stressed the fuck out for the past two weeks with a shit storm of issues and also haven’t been able to skate for the past 2 months due to a sprained wrist and ankle.

I hadn’t checked this thread in a while and this had me maniacally laughing.

Like 4 people have told me I'm 46 in July and it's time to stop skatebloarding. I was like no. And they continued the barrage. So I was like hmm. Yeah I been thinking about chilling a few months.
I'm just gonna order a freestyle board and a polerizer. Hang it up for the summer.

Dude showed up to the skatepark on one of those rentable electric scooters and proceeded to rip around the transition on it. The whole time the scooter was beeping at him, and intermittently a laboured robotic voice would say “please drive on the street.”

Mike no said it. He was trying to be like PJ. Long ago I said on here. Mike mo is the turn down west coast PJ Ladd.

Almost full volume but I never got to see him skate irl. Could be close. Could be that it was Ty's fault. Is that the guy who ruined skate videos again? I can't really remember.
