Do you go to the VA for health care? It's an adventure. I honestly prefer it because I get gnarly WWII stories sometimes from fellow vets that make the trip worthwhile.

I do, it's a pain in the ass. I have regular insurance through my wife too, but I just go to the VA out of habit I guess. I don't like it because if there's something I need from a specialty clinic I have to wait months for an appointment, so its a lot easier to go through regular insurance.
Get those stories, those guys aren't going to be around much longer.

yeah, that dude needs serious help. i just watched a bunch of his videos and this ^ is all i can think of.

i dont really have any good ideas for how to try to help him, but if anyone knows this kid or sees him around, he definitely needs to be taken home to his parents.

Fell off the deck of a ramp yesterday at a park I have never been to. Hit my ass on the corner and then fell about 3 feet to flat on my back. My ass cheek hurts like hell and my neck is really sore. Still gotta go to work today sore as hell.

I've had the same shitty iphone 4 for about 3years and dropped it numerous times and not broken it but today it fell out of my pocket and finally cracked, sad day indeed.

Yeah I've heard credit unions can be good and I've heard a lot of good things about Charles Schwab.

I'm just sick of having to check my account to make sure my bank isn't stealing from me.

Banks are fucked. I just got a 6 thousand dollar return on my taxes, which is nice, but the bank held it for 4 days plus. I hqd to go in and get the hold removed.

Ffs its government check, shit aint gonna bounce

people being dicks while im going door to door trying to get a job.
it's not like i walk into anywhere that i think i have no shot at a position, i only go into businesses in areas i have experience working in.
i have no confidence, im already hella nervous and these people act like complete assholes when they could just say they arent interested.
fuck you, i dont even want you to like me.

Wife scratched the fuck out of our new car. Other car starting to give me problems, not even sure if it's worth fixing since its blue book value is like $3k. I just don't want another car payment.

Bummer. Did something similar one pime pulling up to work at 5am. Slow down to park, steeltoe boot slips off the brake and I hit the barrier.

Cost 3 grand to replace the whitty plastic bumper on that pieve of shit car. 2003 dodge intrepid

Had to put one of our dogs down on Sunday.  This is the first dog I've ever had to do that with (lost a cat previously).  It's really, really heavy.

He was a wonderful guy, we adopted him as a senior.  They guessed he was around 12 and we had him for almost 3 years, so 15 is a good long life.  The 3 years we had him he was treated like a king, so it makes me happy knowing he was so happy in his later years.

It is brutal though... we noticed he was slowly declining in his old age, but everything was normal and fine on Saturday night, and on Sunday morning we noticed something was wrong.  10 hours later he was gone.  The house feels empty (even with 2 other dogs), his presence was huge.  Taking him out was the first thing I did every single morning, so waking up on Monday was hard.  I miss him like crazy.

RIP little man

75% of SLAP's response to the Tim O'Connor thread. I've been taking a break from SLAP due to school, now I just want to take a break from SLAP in general because of the invasion of the social justice whackness that has been occurring on here.
See you dudes, dudettes, undecided, recently switched, or non gender fools around 4chan.

My Fathers in the hospital, tore me apart seeing him in there. He gets a bone marrow test tomorrow and  I'm trying to remain optimistic about the results

Confirmed with leukemia , times like this are why I cant believe in a god. Spent his whole life working hard, fearing god and being drug free just to get get cancer at 55 anyways. Im feeling so helpless, people come to me with good words but it doesnt help. They talk about miracles and although that may clear their conscious , what about mine?

I have 2 friends with cancer right now. Fuck that shit. Hope your dad makes it through, and keeps a healthy attitude.

You and the D00D have turned this thread into a horrible head-on-collision between a short bus full of regular kids and a van full of paraplegics.

Pretty much the same, just a clean break with no other damage, just a bone. To be honest, I should have waited a couple weeks, maybe a month longer, but its all good now. I still have a titan thing in it, and it hurts from time to time, but nothing to be concerned with. Maybe I was just lucky, but I feel like my leg is stronger now than it was before, outside of the pain I mentioned.
