The first of chilled skatepark photos from today, don't really know how I feel about this, skateboard is out of focus etc. Can i get any critique on it? For example more contrast or whatever

Like that pitbull shot by the way ^

^^Like the different angle. Reminds me of the PJ Ladd cover from some time back. Its a tre flip right? Kinda hard to tell by the skaters style. But i like it, the board being little blurred isn't a problem at all. Maybe a little more space to the left - his finger is almost cut off.

Shot some photos for a local restaurant. The owner is a dick and doesnt pay his staff. I got my pay though, but still a dick.

Fs 180 fakie nosegrind on the only skateable street hubba in the entire country. Impossible to find if you don't know about it. Its really sketchy and the run-up is really bad.

Bs tail on a curb on a downhill. Kinda hard finding a good angle, critic would be nice, cause I had a hard time shooting it. Wanted to show how steep the hill was + the hole behind the curb. Think it turned out allright.

Yeah it's a tre flip, thanks for the comments. That green fence is a bit distracting, have you tried cropping that out? Then the photo would be using thirds as well, might make it more interesting.

I tried a first, but it felt it was cropped to close to the curb then. The problem is, I couldnt include more to the right to use thirds, the street isn't wider than showed there. But.. you might be right! It might work better without the green fence shit. It is quite distracting and doesn't do anything for the picture. I will try cropping it again -  thank you, always great with fresh eyes and opinions!

does somebody have experiences with pola backs? I just bought myself one for cheap, shit only needs to get delivered. I want to use mainly for checking the light when working with flashes. according to flickr you can get a decent quality out of the polaroids and these fuji fp-100 films

Recently went to an annual Baltimore neighborhood festival, lots of weird characters.

Also had my first experience of being on the other side of the lens for someone's street photography. I saw him pre-focusing as he was walking towards me and then he pointed it at me. Of course I did the one thing I hate when I'm doing street photography: I smiled. Haha no clue why.

skating is all about choosing your outfit very deliberately, going out in public. looking super sick. and then riding your board a little bit

thanks alot! I'm using a hasselblad 500 c/m mostly with a kodak film. the secret is to get a good film and bring it to a lab, that does a perfect job.

Far too much glowing in all of them, and too much movement between the shots in all the ones with clouds and the one with ducks.

isnt that kinda the point of HDR? to make the colours look rediculous.

and how can i improve?

Matze and Brandon, absolutely killing it. Especially the smiley baloon shot.

Hopefully I'm getting a Fujica AX-3 to replace my AX-1 which has light leaks or whatever which has been fucking up my film shots for ages now. I was going to get it repaired in Jessops but that would end up being like 5 times the price of getting an AX-3 body, fuck them. Stoked.

Don't set out to make the colours look ridiculous, set out to get detail out of shadows and highlights in difficult lighting. Like with all photo editing (in my opinion) you should just obey the God quote from Futurama - 'when you do things right, people won't be sure you've done anything at all'

I've had error 99 a few weeks ago. Dropped my lens on the floor and then shot 20 photos and the error popped up. i did some research and it has something to do with your lens failing to communicate with your body. im glad it was my kitlens so i bought a second hand one for cheap. repairing it can be quite expensive.
