shot with a non-skateboarding friend yesterday. that stuff was bonkers, even looking at that thing was insane. waist high even though i am rather tall, incredibly rough ground, he had to pop out to the right or he would crash into a brick wall (he did once), tons of children distracting, he didnt care. one of the more impressive things i ever saw.

Developed my first roll of color ever. Pretty stoked on the results, but I definitely wanna get better. Here's the entire roll:

You and the D00D have turned this thread into a horrible head-on-collision between a short bus full of regular kids and a van full of paraplegics.

I'm very excited about it. I'm taking a class on color processing and we're gonna do prints as well.

What's going on with that board?  It looks flat and like it has wheel well cut outs. What am I seeing?

its a streetboard, kinda like that with binding.

its basically a mix between snakeboarding and snowboarding, the tricks they do is insane. i wouldnt really care about it, but the guy pictured here regularly skates with us and goes on street sessions and stuff, he is pretty cool.

really stoked on your color prints, josh!

Good stuff CRD.  Was thinking about starting to develop my own black and white.  Theoretically being able to see what you got almost immediately after you finish a roll would be nice.

Decided to try out some handheld long exposures for the hell of it, nothing great but I like how it looks.

I'm no photographer, but I was really happy with how this turned out. I won't lie, there's some cropping / straightening / levels stuff in Photoshop going on, but not much. :)

Dusted off my Nikon that I rarely use today so I can use it for a project I've got going on with a friend of mine. Apparently the last time I used it was when Mike York was still on Turf.

Went on a trip out the the northwest with some of my family a couple weeks ago... these are a few photos I snagged using my dad's camera:

I like this one because I had to zoom in as far as his camera is able to, and to me it almost looks like a painting.

I took this one using my phone on the flight back:
