Went on a trip out the the northwest with some of my family a couple weeks ago... these are a few photos I snagged using my dad's camera:

I like this one because I had to zoom in as far as his camera is able to, and to me it almost looks like a painting.

I took this one using my phone on the flight back:

I was scrolling through the thread, and was like "what the hell, I don't remember taking those shots". Living in Portland I hike in the Columbia River Gorge all the time. Off the top of my head that looks like Elowah Falls, Horsetail Falls, Oneota Gorge, and Multnomah falls. Did you get a chance to visit Eagle Creek?

Hahahaha. I didn't visit Eagle Creek, but I just looked it up and can say that I wish I had. It was my first time in the northwest and I was just blown away by how beautiful the landscapes are. It's much different than Florida...

Do any of you guys shoot with land camera? There's a Kodak Polaroid 360 land camera at the antique store up the street from my house, that seems like it's in pretty good condition, and it's only $42. Should I pick it up, or is it one of those things that it's impossible to get film for?

*edit: this camera

**double edit: I bought it.

I was curious and found this instructional: http://www.instructables.com/id/Resurrect-a-Polaroid-Land-Camera/?ALLSTEPS

Summary: Convert the battery to AAA or buy a pricey, hard-to-find battery.  And, buy Fuji instant film over Impossible Project film.

Yeah, I found that same article before I went back and bought it. I'm stoked, it seems like it's in really good condition. No gunk on the rollers, still has the original manual and everything. Just need to get the battery holder switched out and I'll be good to go.

I just got a Polaroid 250 for like $80 on ebay. Coolest shit ever when done right. Black and whites come out so nice and the fact that Fuji has negatives to the back of the photos are a plus. I have yet to master color though as I keep getting underexposed shots but it really is a fun camera. Just looks totally embarassing cause you have all type of motherfuckers want to ask questions.

Really like these.

Anyone here shoot with a Fuji x100?  Thinking about buying one, pretty expensive but it seems worth it.

the x100 is a rad camera, i've never used one but I know a bunch of people who have one. the only bad thing i've heard is that the autofocus can be wonky and the manual focus is terribly unusable.

the x100s is supposed to have fixed those problems but it's also pretty pricey compared to the x100 which you can get for way cheaper now after the x100s got released.

i've been shootin a bunch lately

Really need to get out shooting more, been ages since I posted anything. Some travel odds and ends I only just got around to editing, and some pictures from the flood here last week. Only got to shoot for like 20 minutes before cops were swarming everywhere getting people to start evacuating.

Yeah the x100s is a bit too much for what i'm willing to spend at the moment.  I think the autofocus wonkiness can be attributed to people not letting themselves fully get used to the camera, but manual focus is supposedly annoying and there isn't much of a way around that unfortunately.  Thanks for the input though, and nice photos as usual man.

whats the deal with the x100's shitty manual focus? How could fuji possibly fuck up a manual focus ring?

From what I've read it's really time consuming to focus manually, having to turn the ring around and around.  It's slow, basically.

These were taken with a land camera with Fuji film. Sorry for the large size, not sure how to make them smaller.
