^ these are sick!

i am regular when it comes to cameras. i bought an olympus trip on ebay and took it out on shotgun league last week. i only got a few shots because i wanted to concentrate on shooting my gun and not my camera. anyway, when i was done i decided to test the camera by putting my hand over the lens and seeing if the red flag would come up (if theres not enough light to take a photo, a red flag pops up in the view finder and makes it so you cant fire the shutter). no flag popped up, camera still fired even with no light entering the lens, so i thought the camera was broken. blasted off the rest of the film just so i could take it out and inspect the camera, so i maybe only got 6 shots on that roll. anyway, the camera works fine, the flag is just busted which im ok with. i should have my second roll developed today from that camera, so im stoked to see how the new shots look.

here are a few from my first roll.

just checked an old memory card i had and found some photo i took a few years ago with a polaroid z340. its like a digital polaroid that allows you to print photos instantly. really stupid purchase i made because the camera is huge and just a pain to carry around, but it took a half way decent photo. kinda lomo looking, but i thought these shots were decent.

You LA peeps......thought to post this here. Looks like it could be a read show with some really cool candids. Like looking back into time with some skate history:

Altamont Presents: Andrew Reynolds ?Polaroids?

Altamont will soon be opening a new exhibition featuring iconic skateboarder and photographer,  Andrew Reynolds. Simply titled ?Polaroids,? the show explores Reynolds? life as a young skater in Florida through a series of Polaroids and 35mm prints. From childhood images on his driveway launch ramp to shots from Birdhouse tours together with Willy Santos, Tony Hawk and Ocean Howell, the images offer a rarely seen side of the skater, one that Reynolds has largely kept to himself until now.

The exhibition kicks off on May 14 from 8-11pm at the Known Gallery in LA.

Known Gallery
441 North Fairfax Avenue
Los Angeles, CA 90036

those are all just freshwater manmade ponds in florida, they're that blue because of this food coloring we put in them, the first couple pictures were right after it was put it in so it was realllllly blue then haha. The color now  reminds me of baja blast.

I took a trip last week to the south, and got some pics.

Assateague Island mustangs.

More Asseteague Island.

Island lighthouse. Light went out when we were walking up the trail. Huge bummer.

Monument where the south laid down their arms.

Sir Tommy Jeffers.

Old court house.

I love blurriness of the lines in the grating/fence in the foreground, when you focus on the ship it really fucks with your eyes.

If I made work like this I would totally steal appropriate this device!

actually, this was a really lucky shot.  This was on a bridge and I captured the boat between the railings as I was driving across the bridge
