Matze, I've got to share this one with you now..

I moved to Copenhagen just around 2 1/2 month ago. I guess maybe now it was around 5-6 weeks ago, i saw what appeared to be a old, grumpy man sitting underneath a tree in Fælledparken and I thought to my self, that guy is so self conscious, he must be posting on SLAP. And guess what. I went in here, saw your photos, and in one with you and your girlfriend recognizes this man, who might not be that grumpy at all - I don't now. He definitely still seems self conscious though..

I like your work, and I wish I'd have the courage to go and ask, but it seamed to weird say "Hi, do you by any chance post on SLAP?"

Molte, I hope that I'll move to cph very soon, then we can be skate buddies. I'm so glad for you, because the last time I was sitting in fælledparken was last year. I did walk through it a month ago, but I guess that does not count. I love the story though!

Those are so good!

Where's that bank spot? Is that somewhere close to Hamburg?

thanks dude, it's in Hamburg, close to the station Diebsteich. you have to hopp a small fence, but it's worth it.

Thanks for the directions. Found it on google maps. Going to check that spot out for sure!

I was on tour with some friends who have got a band called Narcosatanicos. They played two shows. One at Geggan Festival and one on a boat in Stockholm. I was driving for the most part and taking photos and partying for the rest. I'll save you from all of the photos in here, but please follow the link. They're way better as a whole.

Everyone is absolutely killing it. Great work everyone. Its crazy to see the amount of talent that skateboarders have in photography. Everyone growing up around skate magazines and constantly exposing ourselves to the talented older photographic skating community. Keep inspiring.

^^^^Host your photos on a site. Get you photo prepped and upload to say TinyPic: http://tinypic.com/. After you upload it, you'll get an URL and just copy that link and come back to Slap, hit that "Insert Image" icon above and paste in the address into it. Hit preview to see if you did it right.

"Szarkowski's and Winogrand's influence can be felt in several distinct areas. First, they helped create a climate for an unprecedented exploration of the straight aesthetic, particularly in hand camera work. The photographs of many young photographers can be traced to their influence, support, and direct encouragement: Tod Papageorge, Henry Wessel, jr., Bill Zulpo-Dane, William Eggleston, Stephen Shore, Nicholas Nixon, Robert Adams, Chauncey Hare, Lewis Baltz, and William Christenberry, to name only the most prominent." - From American Photography: A Critical History 1945 to Present, by Jonathan Green (1984)
