you know, i couldnt stomach more than 1 minute of that little video, but generally i agree with warren / ghostbusters...
if you really want to do lomo / holga style stuff, why not just buy a good camera and then learn how to make your pictures look like the lomo / holga style? filters, gels, cross-processing, pushing and pulling, double exposures, etc. then you still have the option of taking good pictures when (or if) you want to. some really, really good film cameras (whether 35mm or medium format) can be bought at such ridiculously cheap prices these days, that it doesnt make sense to spend money on a plastic piece of crap camera with which your results will always be more serendipitous (accidental) than intentional. some of you dudes here have bought killer cameras in the last month or so; how are you finding it so far?
