2016 has been a pretty rough year. I lost two of my oldest friends (they didnt die, they just became fuckboys), had to move back into my parents house with my girlfriend, skated less than a handful of times and just lost the Skater Fag in me but today I was waiting to get my tired changed so I rolled over to the park near by and they repaved the parking lot and that got me so stoked. idk what it says about the parks here but I spent the next hour and a half skating in the parking lot. It was the most pure joy Ive felt in a long time

for the last yr, each month i picked a random friend who'd done something good for me and sent em $50 [SHARKWAVE! lottery] partially inspired by rusty and his altruism but mostly a lifetime of gratitude.
i got pals that lace me mushrooms and i sent a package of subs/benzos to a homie far away and a little box to a pal. got home to 5 beanies and $40 from a woman i met at rusty's memorial.  just pretty hyped on everyone's good deeds circulating.

Pretty stoked I found out why my anxiety has been acting up. Probably just the new year, guess I don't like change. Just got my LSAT scores back from December... got a 150. 2 more points than my first attempt in June. Thought I would get a little better score but glad I didn't blow 200 bucks on a worse score.  Sipping on some nice ipa now in relief more than a celebration.

I haven't been really able to skate because of family and the holidays. But, I met up with a friend that still has that kiddish love for skateboarding and never seems to get tired. I lent him my curb board and he managed to beat me to tricks I was trying. I did manage to land some stuff and it was one of those sessions that just leave you stoked.
