Farted in my office like 15 seconds before someone showed up to present me an award and it didn't stink at all.

Also congrats on the award

Just got tickets to a dinosaur jr show at my favorite venue. Should be really good. I’ve seen j mascis solo and that was awesome but him with the whole band should be even better

While standing up, I hope.

You and the D00D have turned this thread into a horrible head-on-collision between a short bus full of regular kids and a van full of paraplegics.

I couldn't agree More.

I got 5grams sitting in my desk. Would be gone already if they was chocolate.
I do have a habit of stockpiling trips tho.

Save it for the day you've had enough of reality. Put on WHL or Tricolor and go mash the burbs till sun up.

It's why Ian what I am today. Without it I'd definitely be long dead.

haven't been able to sleep lately, maybe 4 at most 5 hours each night this week. Last night forgot to set alarms and slept 10 straight hours and feel incredible today. Slept right through all my morning meetings but ultimately wasn't any issue at all

Got a new job. Doing the same thing I’m already doing with a different, so far much better company. So my peace of mind and happiness has really benefited. My only gripe is it’s so much further away from my house. It’s an hour in the morning and 1.5 in the evening.

i just got home with some shopping and dropped a carton of soymilk, but I caught it on my foot. it was kind of insane. it's like a cardboard rectangular prism and I caught on my toes (in shoes) the right way up. was incredibly impressive but my girl is in bed very sick and in a lot of pain and would not be interested in such a thing at the present moment so i had to tell someone. whoop whoop!

this took place at my family's halloween party about 2 weeks ago:

during the party I ended up hanging out with a few of my friends from work, my sister-in-law, and some of her coworkers. a couple hours into all of us hanging out, the topic of knee injuries comes up as someone there was talking about how they got their ACL repaired recently. I brought up how I've been dealing with knee issues the last few years because of skateboarding, and how I've been skating for over 20 years now. her coworker, a very nice guy (don't want to use his name) who my mom actually took quite a liking to, brought up how his brother also skated, and that he had made it pretty far in the industry.

I've heard people say that their brother or friends or whoever skates and that they were sponsored, but when I ask who they are I inevitably have never heard of them. so I ask who his brother was and he tells me its Devin Bagnoli! I was a couple drinks in at this point and I tripped out!

I told him I've been watching Devin for years, knew about him through the Colorado scene when I used to live out there, and that he was, indeed, very gnarly. essentially, I told him I had followed Devin's career.

his brother was genuinely surprised and was stoked that I knew who Devin was. that was a very cool moment and it just goes to show that the older you get, the smaller the world becomes.

Taking a break from skating to recover from a back injury, but stoked on physical therapy and slowly getting better. Went to a skate video night put on by a homie. He just had vhs tapes on a projector screen in the back of a bar and it was fun to drink beer and bullshit about skate vids with some homies.

Videos were:
Mouse
Jump of a building
Some euro vide magazine called codeRed- lots of barcelona spots with some really good pontus footage.
Baker 3

Got a new board (7.876), new bushings, new pivot cups, and replaced those shit ass Bones 5 ball bearings with normal Reds, the board feels 10000% better.

Seriously, those 5 balls are absolute shit.

I'm really not one to take pleasure or find happiness in the suffering of others, but I think I can make an exception this time. Derek Chauvin got stabbed in prison.

Dude at the pizza place chatted about skateboarding with me and then hooked it up with a free cookie.

It is kind of cool when skaters help each other out rather than cool guy them to death.
