Haven't had a drink in over 2 weeks. Haven't been waking up feeling like shit, going to the gym and skating a ton, pants fitting better, etc. On top of that, kid used the toilet for the first time today, so hopefully we can cut the diapers out of the budget soon.

This would've helped earlier in the week so I could make a vet appointment before I spend all day in my pool.

That's from a new Todd Solondz movie called Wiener Dog that I can't tell if it's good or not. I don't think it is, but it's one of those ones.

Landed a really nice feeling hardflip first try today because my friend was all "hey I bet you can't hardflip first try", so I tried one just for shits and giggles to see how close I'd get and I ended up landing one. I never get them first try, like, ever; as a matter of fact it's not uncommon for me to try them for half a session straight before I even just stick one. Felt good.

some wonderful human being uploaded a bunch (possibly all) of the genius Norm Macdonald's Weekend Updates from SNL, which are impossible to find due to SNL burying it forever (i'm assuming the white bubble over his face somehow keeps the NBC watchdogs away).  Outside of Chevy Chase, Norm was the best to do this (I like Akroyd/Curtain as well)

also to keep it skate related, I'm really stoked on Paisley Skateboards out of SF.  Great art, some good shapes.. has that early 90's World-vibe (Sean Cliver is the main artist).  I feel like these guys should be getting more attention.

Haven't skated in a while since having a kid, but just had a quick power session on a local ledge/manny pad and it was fun as fuck.

Basically of drugs. Did a quick taper and now I just gotta make it through the rebound anxiety period. Only gonna binge on the small doctor supply for a few days every month instead of buying extra shit and being faded my whole life. This is like the 5th time I tried this but fuck it, Ill see how it goes.

Im not trying to be sober, just not regular faded everyday.

Got a free 22in HD Cintiq from work to put in my home studio. Now I just have to come up with excuses to not use it.

went to goodwill and found a barely used enjoi 7.5 or 7.6. Had to pick it up. Just got to find some smaller trucks and wheels. Also, if anyone is in Vegas, and has an 8-9 size foot, there's a few circa muska models (the first ones) from back in the day at that size at the fort Apache/flamingo location.

Birthday today, turned 34, feeling pretty good. Skated with Tangar this morning then hit chik-fil-a. Haven't had a drink since June 15th. Won that eBay case, some dude trying to come up on me. Filipino dinner with the wife and kid, then some cake. Good birthday.

Since moving to the pacific northwest close to 3 years ago, I've spent most of my free time hiking and shooting photos. I've done tons of camping, but tomorrow I'm doing my first backpacking trick into a lake in the backcountry. Super stoked. Not many things help to rectify a 9-5 desk job like getting out into the wilderness.

Thread worthy on vidyagames but im too stoked on this fucking thing.
Been out of the loop since metal gear solid 3, so this is a cool option to play a classic and not spend $399

Nintendo is releasing a miniature NES with 30 built-in games
Nintendo is bringing back the NES — only a little smaller.

Today the company announced what it's calling the Nintendo Entertainment System: NES Classic Edition. It looks just like a NES, only a lot tinier, and it comes with 30 games built in. You can connect it to your TV via a HDMI cable, and it also includes a controller designed to work just like the iconic rectangular NES gamepad. (The new controller will also connect to a Wii Remote, so that you can use it to play Virtual Console games on a Wii or Wii U.)
Available this november for just $60 bucks

I just want everyone to know that I'm only 32.8% skateboarder, and that's on a good day. The rest is just soy and cum.

Totally, blowing on the cartridges and crossing my fingers for it to work was a whole ritual i actually enjoyed.
Kinda like having an actual dvd skate vid vs. buying on itunes, shit isnt the same.
stoked on being able to play ghosts n ghouls and metroid and castlevania nonetheless
