Putting cheese on ramen.

Like a slice of american cheese? Or grated cheddar cheese? I hear this is popular in korea because the cheese kind of cuts the harshness of kimchi and other spices but I have not tried it myself yet.

I like cheese on curry because of being stationed in Japan and eating coco curryhouse all the time. What kind of cheese are you using?

A couple of weeks ago I made bacon, egg, and cheese ramen for breakfast after seeing it on some cooking site, so I carried it over. I know there's cheese ramen out there, but I had never tried it in a restaurant. I'm just shredding some cheddar over some shiro ramen. It just adds a little extra something.

Im signing a lease on a new place today with my girlfriend. We have been living with another couple for 3 years and are very over it. No falling out or anything just over it. I am still in disbelief that we were able to get a place while both unemployed and one of us (me) having terrible credit. A good recommendation letter from a landlord goes a long way I guess.

Switch board.  Switch board pop out to fakie.  I want the 270 out tho. I've done a couple regs.  All my ledge game requires no pop.  Board variations. I got a good front board switch 5-0 (two inch scrape) today too

i never learned how to ride a bike no hands. i just learned it two days ago and trying to get better at it, ride no hands over cobbles or off curbs, take light turns. it's really fun. my bikes frame is a bit too big for my body size so i had a hard time leaning back and letting go but once hands were off it was like "that is all to it? just keep pedaling, huh." was surprised how easy it was. i hated every cyclist riding no hands before, it was pure jealousy ha. i see the appeal now. it's pretty chill.

i also learned caballerial in transition yesterday. gonna try and film a nice one sometime this week hopefully for the footage thread.

Related to another thread, but I've hung out with a girl who is pretty cool a few times now. I'm not sure where it'll go, but it is fun right now.

She made me cookies and even suggested we watch Skate Le Monde the other night. Skate Le Monde isn't super "core," but it provides an interesting look at skateboarding across the world and it was fun to watch it with her.

I wouldn't except many to watch this, but I found an old copy of a video I made back in 2004 and uploaded it to YouTube last night. Really fun to watch it again and reminisce on the old days. If you grew up skating in Orange County you might enjoy seeing some familiar spots.

Tried out some weed called pink rozay
Have a super high tolerance due to 25 years of blunts and what not but this pink rozay hits good. Would buy again.

Hey thanks! Glad you liked it. I'm a terrible editor but just enjoy filming. Cool to hear someone enjoyed it. Going to upload the next video we made several years later that was a lot better.

In my current apartment building, people leave their empty beer cans and bottles in the recycling room, so for all of June I've been picking them up and cashing them in. Made $60 this month, which I just used to cop a set of F4 51 mm 101d classics (they took a long time to find - the F4 shortage is real and scary, only ugly colours and unwanted sizes still available). Hoping to afford trucks when the summer ends. It's a simple pleasure to use empty beer cans in order to buy skate product.

I've been here since February and always saw tons of cans laying around, but never felt like cashing them in. Then I saw a 24-case of empties just sitting there and I snapped. It's maybe like 1-2 hours of "work" (picking up empties and driving to the beer store to cash them) in the entire month. And it's not like I'm stealing them from the homeless, since you need keys to get in the recycling room.

Just a good game of skate. Was down to T, about to get skunked, then my turn. Got him to A, then did a full cab for T, then a Fakie Tre for E. Haven't done a fakie Tre in 3 years and it was first try. Just a good feeling.

Thanks! That's actually our friend Skippy's new video. Here's the older video I was talking about that I uploaded last night. I posted it in the Photos/Videos page as well:

Went camping. Spent time with my girlfriend and family, started a fire with flint steel, got to pet some horses and a very cool donkey, fed the donkey an apple slice. Saw a deer, went on a super long hike way up into the mountains, came across beautiful meadows and streams and saw a frog. We didn't see anyone else for hours, saw named carved into trees in the 30'ss, 60's, 70's and 80's. Walked across and took a break next to a huge cold waterfall that was a surprise cap to the hike. Nobody we talked to had caught any fish, plenty of people said they had been fishing for a week. I announced to everyone that I haven't fished in 5 years, I don't even have my own pole, but I promise I will catch a fucking fish. Fished for like 2 hours before leaving the last day, used whatever pole nobody else was using, didn't use the crazy bait or lures or anything that everyone was using, worms baby, caught 2 fucking fish took pictures, let them go. Such a good fucking time. I've been dying to camp for years but haven't been able to, and I've been going crazy locked up inside so it was just a great refreshing trip.

Hmmmm Nice Bike

The skate park down the block finally reopened and it looked pretty empty.
