Nothing makes me happier than seeing the endlessly cocky Mikey Alfred have his film get turned down for production. After talking shit on Spike and Jonah and feeling like he's some revolutionary filmmaker, it's great to see him get a reality check. I don't know why Thrasher is backing them so hard and the piece Tony Vitello wrote about them on their website today seems so desperate or that Mikey paid them to run it.

Heard about a new competitive PC game today, saw it was from a major studio a childhood friend was working at when I last talked to him a couple years ago. I looked up the game and he's one of the 3 people who created it. Shot him a text and reconnected. Pretty crazy to be downloading some huge game and find out the kid who you grew up with and showed you a Playstation for the first time is one of the creators.

Been struggling with a contract gig the last few months. Contracts coming up and due to the pandemic there's no conversion to full time possible (I know boo-hoo right? I truly feel lucky to have a job but finding a permanent gig has been on my mind!)

Anyways got a call just now that after 4 interviews they're offering me a job! Start in two weeks and feeling beyond grateful. My heart goes out to those struggling with employment through this and I hope the luck can get passed onto you.

I found a good deal on jeans that fit like late 90 style but stretch. There's a weird panel that actually seems to free up movement and they're super cheap. I hate shopping for jeans so I am relieved to find some I like.

I don’t know how to post pictures but my new building’s got this pool bar. Last few days I been sitting in there drinking and smoking weed. It’s heated and it’s winter so it’s just fucking steaming at night.
