That Dave Leroux Goodtimes board is a work of art. Someone needs to bite that style of graphic asap.

That Cab dragon is eerily similar to the memory of of my first board. I can’t remember it exactly, but man does seeing that particular color scheme spark a memory. Mines probably got incinerated long ago.

Just saw that jim gagne label deck at a place called westernskateco.com and they had that andrew reynolds deck I am pretty sure amongst other rare boards that I see on ebay as well so I'm wondering if people are buying and flipping these as a lot of these are the same/similar decks but for a bit lower in price.

I can check the eBay names but I would assume those sites are beginning to use their eBay accounts to get more eyes on their stock.

I have absolutely never heard of Marc Silvestri.

That Tom Boyle has to be crazy rare.  The Tommy G is the hot pick in that batch.

It’s interesting to track the vagaries of deck prices. Popular skater? Actually rare? Particularly good graphic? Wealth of target demographic?

You can sort of write a narrative after the fact but it’s not always immediately obvious.

Ex Lion Tamer, thanks for starting this thread; it's been fun to watch. (And thanks to anyone who has helped keep it up.)

I have a question for the group: Is ebay still the place to sell decks? I have a pile of stuff to sell (including a lot of old Anti Hero stuff) and all the places I knew/had tried (like the old Skull and Bones forum, and a few collector/sell groups on FB) were all kind of dead ends...

Photos here (three pages worth) if anyone is curious: https://flic.kr/s/aHBqjA7zgu

Thanks.

those antiheros that you have are pretty sick. if i was in the buying mood i would bid on some of those. i'm in some heavy debt right now so i'm in sell mode. the ones that i sold hurt a little but i aint trying to be homeless if you know what i mean.
you should do well with them on eBay.
the way i did it is i listed them with buy it nows at a little bit higher of a price than i expected to get, then slowly dropped the prices over time.

Thanks for the kind words guys.

Is there anything I can do to make these posts better?  Am I including too many unnecessary boards? Do you want to see more 80s stuff? Are my images too big... Everything seems to get magnified when I post it ?

Marc Silvestri is the artist who drew that Cyberforce graphic, it’s his comic book that he worked on after he left Marvel.

Well, I guess you're some kind of hero now.  I've been looking for a photo of this board for 20 years, with no luck.  No Art of skateboarding, no CCS or other catalogs, no archive or internet search of any sort.  I had this board in spring of 1995 and it only had a piece of the rug left and part of the chandelier.  I remembered the graphic accurately though.  I just couldn't verify it's existence other than my memory.  Now, there is a perfect example ending my decades or curiosity.  I thank you.

Not a deck like some of you Rockefellers, paid less than $100 Canadian Dollars for Mindfield, and a reversible Circa Muska jersey. Seller included a Canadian homie video with Cephas from The Bunt and a bunch of old stickers

Muska, Chillin Chillin
Well I have like 9 Andy Anderson flight decks

Would you have went for it if you had known it was up for sale?
