This video is like what that guy said what competitive air guitaring at the competitive air guitar festival is like in that documentary about air guitar... it's a joke you've told so many times, it's not a joke anymore, it's just the thing you do everyday.
GH part's a good metaphor. It's nuts, and it's him doing tricks he would giftedly hate about if done by someone else, and he does them unironically in joyful union with a bunch of people who seem to also unironically ride for a brand called Sci Fi Fantasy without considering it dorky.
The fact that this video exists is fucking baffling - I dunno if I love it, but I think that we are lucky to have it. It's like the Edglrd video set out for a thing that imploded because it was too busy being pissed off at people for what it thought would make it popular in their eyes, but instead of being stuck with an ultra cynical douchebag that thinks he's the shit because he tricked us into hanging out with him, this video means we get the friend who is first and foremost a friend - just this dude who's like "hey man, I don't have the guest list invite to the Miami night club or anything, but I do have a pretty wicked DND campaign mapped out, and it might not be for you, but if it is, I think you'll have a good time". I do not deserve this friend, but if I can still consider this friend mine and this friend considers me a friend as well, then I am truly lucky.
