I loved that shit, definitely my favorite video in a long time. To be fair I’m a huge Jerry lover and probably their target demographic, but who can hate on a gnarly squad having fun and skating on their own terms? Oh wait….

Ethel Cain, Salem, and Young Thug were some of the last artists I would’ve expected to hear together in a skate video but I’m not complaining. Everyone came through with banger parts. I’m honestly a huge hater of gifted hater content, but his skating is undeniably unique and sick. Arin and Jerry had the feel good part of the year. Similar vibes to Jerry and Louie’s Subject to Change part. I loved the mix of broll and random internet clips they used too, shout to the old Japanese dancer head. Overall a video that makes me want to skate so bad.

Using it at the last trick in the video has to be some kind of message no? What are they trying to tell us? The spot alone looks like some kind of illuminati building. Or maybe they just couldn’t afford another night at the Airbnb?

I think the spot’s hugeness (thing is friggin TALL) didn’t come through as much on camera. Also has maybe 20 feet of runup so it’s just one drop and go.

Joa’s part absolutely surpassed expectations and it’s the type of skating he likes. I am completely sure the people here trying to shit on it are pushing 40 and are absolutely ass at skating.

Video was incredible for all reasons stated. This feels like a generation defining full length in a way.

It definitely felt like it has potential to change how videos are put together for x amount of time. They did a good job making sure the old heads get something they want (homie edit at the end and names with parts, jerry) while being appealing to the young cats at the same time. Just a wicked video.

My favorite video in a long time. Brought me a lot of joy. I can understand thinking they got too ironic with the music at times, but I can’t understand not liking the video as a whole. They have a clear artistic vision, but also don’t take themselves overly seriously. Everyone is creative in their approach but also has their own lane. Joa’a part was really good (not just really good for a YouTuber). I hiked up a mountain in my merrell Moab’s today and cannot imagine skating real spots in them. They are so stiff. Team seems like they actually like each other and skate together a lot. Only complaint is I wanted more footage from Awkwasi and Arin. Reminded me of what I love about skateboarding.

mayorjed mentioned it before but it has to be said; in this day and age Sci-Fi did not have to do a video and this does feel like a gift. Jerry killed it and so did everyone else, even if it did feel like two separate videos.

The thought crossed my mind that this could be a video that even people who dont skate would enjoy like Baker 3 , i find that a tough achievement . I can understand why some people wouldnt like it but well probably look back at this video as a line in the sand for the next era

Finally got to watch it and I loved it

It is one of the most cohesive videos I have seen in a while - it reminds me of Polar, when they are best, in the sense that it doesn't make sense to take one part out, because it is somewhat connected with the feeling of watching it in its entirety.
