There's a difference between continuing to use something for it's original purpose that has now been appropriated by racists because you don't want to back down to them (I.E a european church's cross on the architecture) and appropriating imagery after it has already been appropriated by racists (I.E Independent using the Iron Cross after it was established as fascist iconography). If Ace trucks used a Swastika as their logo, would you argue that because it was the Hindu symbol of peace before that, then therefore it's cool? Or is the difference just the fact that the Iron Cross is slightly lesser known?
