Good calls E Flems. You from Wisconsin? I love the New Glaurus Spotted Cow.

Tried this beer the other night. So good. 11% Stout, and it was the chocolatiest beer I've ever had. It was like they made it with hershey's syrup.

Nothing special, just a regular pils beer. But it's really good and way better than most famous brands.

Hah, great name, though maybe the reference to urine would make me shun from it.

I've been trying to expand my taste horizons lately. We've got a Belgian Brewery nearby called Sharp Edge. They have tons of different kinds. I've tried a few from the menu, but haven't found a favorite. Here's the bottle menu, any recommendations?

Duvel, La Chouffe and Malheur 10 would be my top 3.
Can't go wrong with Chimay, Triple Karmeliet or Kwak either.

Can't beat Blanche de Bruxelles on a hot summer day. Ok, you can, but it's still pretty nice.

Also, for something completely different, try Spezial Rauchbier

Coconut beer. Coconut and alcohol in one can together might be too much. The Oatmeal Stout is a classic one too.

I've been drinking the cheapest shit I can find. But what I was doing at the supermarket with buying a six pack of cheap tall cans is buying a a six pack of IPA that is on sale, you could break even, or even save money on a better tasting, stronger beer. I prefer IPA's so I look at the cost on cheap beer vs IPA's and make my decision. Cheap beer is usually PBR, Miller High Life, Busch, Natty Ice, Mickey's Ice. Pyramid's IPA Thunderhead has been on sale pretty much all winter, it is by far the best tasting IPA, well one of the best. You could easily drink a 12 pack and be so shit faced.

Take your pick. They are all SO much better than Kirin.

Also, this company is doing it proper right now:

The Union Jack IPA is amazing, and I'm probably gonna pick up some Solace tonight if i can find it.

Schlafly Coffee Stout boggles my mind, it is so good.  Especially if you keep a few bottles stashed away in the basement.  Hit them up about 6 months later, and it's a completely different beer.  The coffee mixes with the stout more and makes it more of a sweet cream with a stout finish. I also had two different bottles of this Boulevard Chocolate Ale last week.  I swear one must have gone bad in the barrel, because the difference between the two was night and day.
