Wes Kremer's switch flip over the big bump to bar in Barcelona is done like that, looked amazing. Can't recall in which part/clip that was though

Only people with extremely flexible hips/lower back could pull it off. Most people can't rotate a board a full 180 degrees without getting their upper body in on the rotation. Once your upper body begins to rotate, it's hard to turn back. It would only be possible with a hips-only rotation.

I just watched the Kremer clip, and he gets pretty close--maybe 130 degrees or so (I kept pausing it in midair to check). I think he's able to pull if off because the board was angled up a fair bit and because he caught it in front of him--so his leg flexibility could make up for the lack of upper body rotation. Kind of like he applied a flying kung fu kick to the trick. Amazing. 16:21 in the DC promo video:

Has anyone seen a front side smith grind to sugarcane (grinding both)? Or, the reverse, back smith to sugarcane?

I recently learned how to stall the second one, but I was curious if anyone has actually held the grinds...

Thanks for this. I was thinking about it because is it a switch back tail or frontside noseslide? Cause if you did back 180 nosegrind to slide it would be...a switch back tail?

I feel like bennett's style has gotten better with the short hair. Long hair was a lot.
