I have a set of 52mm (I think) Keyframes and they are great for cruising around the hood AND for crusty street spots/parks with rough asphalt.
SML makes a good cruiser wheel too if you cruise and do tricks sometimes too.

So... I just bought some oj super juice, second time I took them out they started chunking pretty bad, it sucks cos they roll super smooth on our rough roads. Pretty disappointed, I had keyframes on before which are awesome, I'll probably just go back to them. Not too impressed really.

Try rough riders. They only chunk when doing slappies. They are fast and smooth and have great rebound.

Key frames are cool for an all around wheel but are a bit slow for a cruiser.

Never tried Super juice but I can’t see them stacking up to Rough Riders…

Wanted to set up a little cruiser-ish board that I could still do tricks on

Polar 7.875
Independent 139
Spitfire F4 OG Classics 55mm 99A
Reds

Might try some slightly softer wheels if I ever get round to actually skating it

I just finished setting up this new cruiser for this summer. First time doing a grip job that was anything other than a simple single line, and I am stoked on how it came out. Now I just need all the snow to melt here in MN...

This looks amazing, I'm running the same shape with 60mm super juice and 139s (to accommodate for the extra width from the wheels). The small trucks and wide wheels make me feel like I am locked into a track when I do slappy 5050s on it.

Been thinking about getting a 70s shape for a long while and finally went for it (totally not influenced by the Lurpiv videos of them skating a Z-Flex deck).

Alva 1977 Twilight Re-issue 7.75" x 29.5" with 16.25" wb (website and other places list it at 16" but they measure it from the outisde edge of the bolt hole instead of measuring it from the center).

OJ Super Juice 60mm 78a

Bronson G3

Indy 109 with aftermarket Indy conical 90a bushings

Mini Logo 1/4" risers

1-1/4" hardware

Super fun board so far. Wheelbase makes it stable but the trucks make it super carvy at the same time. Despite it being 7.75" x 29.5" the board actually feels bigger, but I think this is because of the long wheelbase. Hoping I can take it on transition soon.

I'm not looking to make it period correct, but I do want to put a couple of stickers on it that would make sense for the brand/shape (probably Indy + Dogtown?)

Yeah it's Japan's public broadcasting but fee collectors stop by houses forcing residents to pay even if they don't watch it. Found an article about it here where there were threats left on people's doors who don't answer (https://japantoday.com/category/national/nhk-fee-collector-leaving-threatening-notes-on-people%E2%80%99s-doorsteps)

Ah bummer. In Aus it's just some goofy channel that seems kinda budget that shows you how to make Bento boxes or talks about trains or something.

Flat concave is definitely very different and I'm still not used to it, but overtime I'm sure it'll click. Plus it's hard to imagine this board with concave. 12.75" wb with 109s does sound way too turny to the point of being unenjoyable, so I'd maybe get 129s or something.

Just keep in mind that these aren't designed with modern street skating in mind (I'm still trying to figure out the best way to ollie this thing), but instead with cruising and being flowly like this video which is fine since I've been doing stuff like this more while I cruise.

during the Abe years (who is an ultra-right douche involved in a Shinto cult) NHK became a real mouthpiece for government policy, and what little press freedom Japan had declined even further.

As for the TV tax NHK wants, it’s easy enough just to ignore them.

That’s really cool. I’ve been wanting a narrow cruiser to go with Ace 00s. Not sure if this would work. Alva seems to sell it with Ace 22s for some reason. Sims Taperkick could be cool too but those don’t seem to be available right now. Got any suggestions for old school reissues like these that would fit the bill?

I was considering the G&S KT4 Square Kicktail and the Z-Flex 29" cruiser before this, so maybe those might interest you.

those g&s reissues look awesome but 80 bones for them is criminal...

town and country sticker on these boards is a must!

also re: trying street tricks on these just watch out because i think without concave they are a lot weaker than traditional decks... someone correct me if wrong though
