Seen Dane Burman, Chima and Shane Cross skating around the city and at a few parks.

Also I was at a Krew demo and Antwuan skated past me and said "have you ever skated in these" pointing to his pro model, I just laughed.
TK was also at the demo and he's a really nice dude. He gave my friend props a few years back when he saw him wearing his Krew hoodie.

Shane Azar (aussie pro, has a few tricks in prevent this tragedy) skates the bowl near mine alot and sometimes with Jake Duncombe. Never see nanyone pump a bowl so fast and just has such a flowy style.

Saw Lizard King skating my local and he seemed pretty nice and chilled, though my friend who spent a few days with him said he was really annoying and fidgety.

Went to an E's store signing about 6 years ago where McCrank and Arto were there, both were pretty cool but Koston was meant to be there as well but didn't make an appearance.

about 5 years ago when he was still on city stars, mike taylor and justin case were at a demo in palm desert.  I was going through a creep/stalker phase which I have yet to relinquish and kept caressing justin.  Years on down the road I barebacked mike taylor.

Elissa Steamer stepped on my foot once. She was wearing high heels.

I bumped into Danny Sargent at a bar, told him how much I loved his 1281 part, and he hugged me for 8 seconds.

I see Justrin Strubing literally everywhere.

one of my craziest ones was on a plane to barcelona a few summers ago.  for some reason my friend shawn and i had been talking about how low pat duffy wears his hats--like, over his eyebrows--and had been pointing people out that were wearing hats like that.  anyway, we're on the plane and shawn goes, "check it out, pat duffy."  i look and it's a guy with a hat pulled low, but i go, "nah, dude his hat's not that low," and shawn goes, "no, i mean, pat duffy," and it was pat duffy sitting next to us.  he was a super nice guy, later he helped me get some money converted at the airport, and we ran into him again at forum.  but it was random as hell, sitting next to him on the plane.

another personal favorite run-in was the one time i saw bobby puleo.  was skating the banks this summer and he cruised in from the top, stalled the spine-quaterpipe thing, then cruised off down the hill and out the other end of the banks, leaving as mysteriously as he came.

I saw Dustin Dollin at least four different times that I can remember while I was in Australia last year.  He only had skateboard with him once, but he had a six pack with him every single time.  The only time I saw him skate was at Waterloo.  He skated from this bench across the park, pissed under a tree, and skated back over to the bench...in his little leather boots.

Yeah I've seen Dustin heaps of times but he barely skates. Only thing I've ever seen him do was front shuv Waterloo steep bank/wall thing.

a while ago me and some friends were skating some school in hollywood (gardener) and braydon shows up, he sees my friend rolling up a blunt
so he walks over and hooks it up with some more bud. he ended up blazing with us.

okay like a few years ago i was skating santa monica courthouse  and cops show up, of all the people there me and a buddy were the only ones to get tickets because we were minors and didn't have ID (wtf) anyway daniel castillo was there and he was laughing at us. i don't really mind now, but after that i thought he was the biggest and asshole and i always hated on him

^around the same time i used to always see PJ at the courthouse too, he hardly spoke but was still super nice to everyone (saying whats up to everyone)
on two different occasions, a friend had broken their boards and he went to his car and hooked him up with afresh deck

I'll just go with the worst.

Worst:
Eman, dude got drunk at my friends house. Then started trying to grab my friends tits. When the faggot realized that shit ain't cool where i'm from, he proceeded to look like he was going to cry. Then he punched a hole in the wall when no one was looking(like a bitch) and left in a hurry. That dude is a cocky little bitch. Bitch being the key word.

tonight my girlfriend and i ran into anthony pappalardo at the little mexican grocery by my apartment, i assume he lives close to me.  we walked out of the grocery and my girlfriend said, "did you see that super-sketchy looking guy?  he looked homeless, he was all hunched over and crazy-looking."  "that's like my favorite skateboarder," i told her.

tons of skaters live in long beach so ive seen pretty much any pro that lives here either at the skatepark or at cherry park. but the sighting ive been the most psyched on was cardiel and stranger riding fixies at griffith park in LA.

back in the day , think it was the end of the 90s , Tom Penny showed up one day at the park , dude was doing super high switch flips on a pyramid and some really high switch frontside noseslides on a bump to ledge thing , real looooooooong ones . When ppl realised it was penny , slowly but surley ppl stoped skating and just sat and watched him instead

A friend of mine later snaked him in a miniramp , told me next day "  Dude I snaked Tom Penny ! "  funniest thing ever

Went to a party the same weekend and he was there , said Hi to him and that was it , good party

Penny is the only Pro ive been  ... well not starstruck , but more like  " whooa  thats tom penny "

best style ever

Jim Thiebaud used to go to Albany Middle School in the east bay every year and answer questions for all the 8th graders doing final projects on skating. He even let one of my friends intern at Deluxe as his coffee boy and invited us in to load boxes and shit. Super nice dude.

Not an encounter, but one time I was riding a bus and out the window I saw Krunchy, that guy who films for deluxe walking with some chick

I saw the Creature and Santa Cruz guys at a foundation spot last week. All of them were pretty cool, especially Al Partanen. He had a sick mustache and looked like a porn star.

I was at the first stop of the Skate Rock tour.  Theo is the nicest guy ever, Figgy was running around drunk with a video camera, and I shot the shit with Kenny Hoyle for like 10 or 15 minutes. Michael Burnett was really cool, too. I bruised my foot earlier that night and Jake Phelps asked me about it, which surprised me. Most of the rest of those guys were pretty quiet.
