First thing at a session, lock up on the roll-in into the snakerun to getting pitched shoulder/head first to the flat. After closer inspection of my helmet, I actually cracked the hard foam part of my brand new helmet since I plummeted full speed. Anyhow, this is the only time I've really been thankful I was wearing safety gear. What really sucks is using my right hand (with the re-bruised palm) to hold my left arm up to scratch my ear or anything else on the left side since my shoulder is totally bumping with pain and I can't lift my arm high enough on its own. Getting old really sucks.
