Pretty sure hank's moment of realization was when his now ex boss talked about how gus was right under his nose all this time. They are definately steering the story towards a huge decision for hank.putting him in his boss's job, with a drug lord so close.its the exact same as his boss.he'll recognize the situation. If hank kills walt and covers up the evidence against walt, I could see hank getting away with his job and life, and not destroying the family as bad as getting caught would.

Is it safe to assume Hank is unwittingly compromised since Walt and Skyler spent all that money on Hank's rehab?
[close]

He is compromised regardless. You think they would ever believe Hank if they caught Walt, and he tried to say that he had no idea that his brother in law was the guy they were after all along? Best case scenario he gets fired and his career is over, most likely scenario, they think he was in on it the whole time and prosecute him.
[close]

You're right. That thought crossed my mind before too. Hank could get screwed regardless. He's gotta suspect him a little and I can't wait to find out how long he knew it, if he did.
[close]

word me too, like what would happen if Hank discovered Walt by himself, what would he do? He'd have to do some serious thinking before making a decision, it wouldn't be as simple as arresting him and end of story, that's for sure.
[close]

Doye it would be hard to prove that he was in on it.

Maybe they wouldn't be able to prove it, but the point is that catching Walt would be a career ending move at the very least.

What exactly do you mean by moment of realization? I agree that it was a significant moment, but I don't know exactly what to make of it because i really don't think Hank has actually figured anything out yet. Although I basically agree with everything else you're saying.

Hank has moment of realization, meets Walter at his home to ambush him. Draws his weapon on Walter and demands his surrender, but Walter won't do it. He just won't. Hank fires a round straight into his chest. He then picks up his cell phone and says "It's done sir. He's dead. Yes, the business is all yours." and hangs up the phone.

Camera cuts out to a different scene, wear Badger hangs up his cell phone. Zoom in on creepy smile. Fade to black.

This is the 5th one.  Trust me it's not a show you can just watch one episode a night.  You'll be hooked and wonder where the past 2 weeks went when you get up to date with the episodes.

Anyways tonight's show was phenomenal.  Definitely one of my favorite episodes.

1) Read episode title
2) Figured it was going to a robbery of some sort
3) Scene with kid, train noises in the background
4) "yeap, that kid is dead"

such a great episode. Loved the scene with Hank and the baby.  Hank jokingly saying "I'm not gonna give her back"....definite foreshadowing.

Fucking Todd. God damn over achiever. Jesse is having the best ideas lately - no killing of innocents and keeping things different...and Todd fucks it all up.

yeah i don't really see this as half a season. they are waiting a full year in between and each "half" is only 2 episodes short of being a full season...let's be honest, it's a 6 season show.

If the Sopranos can do it, Breaking Bad can do it.

Anyone else feeling like its missing something now that Walt and Jesse aren't in someone's pocket? I've been trying to figure out why I haven't been as invested in it this season, and the main reason that I have come up with is that they aren't really fighting for anything other than just getting rich. I know that the idea is that they are turning Walt into the ultimate 'bad guy', but still, I wish there was more dangerous conflict between the cooks and someone. Maybe that will happen now that homie offed that kid.

YUP, the funk is definately about to hit the fan! shit is going to good so far this series.. sumthin fucked up is gonna happen if not in ep 6 then absolutely in 7, no doubt it will be reprocussiond from poppin that kid but if not that then my bets are on hank to stumble onto something thats glaringly points out Walt as Heisenberg...

this show is fucking rad btw... never been so heavy into a tv show before!
