this Marks/Gonzalez game should be a good watch because both are ridiculous with flat ground. it's cool to see those two play skate b/c they usually skate much gnarlier stuff. how old is david gonzalez now? 20? 21? i remember it only maybe 4 years ago or so that he could not speak english at all. pretty impressive.

Not really. You can become fluent in a language in 6 months, especially if you're immersed in it. The vocabulary and comprehension are there but could definitely work harder on his enunciation.

I actually thought Billy was gonna win. Even when David had him to T and Billy only had him to S, I thought that he was gonna somehow come back and bust out all of his double flip tricks first try and beat him in an instant. I'm glad David won though, that's who i was routing for.

EDIT: Also, if you notice right after David lands the switch varial flip, you can see Billy shaking his head, probably thinking "fuck, just miss and get a letter already". Pretty funny.

I agree, Billy was not skating like he normally does. He beat cole in that one game they had on the site. however i disagree on the six months thing i live in asia and study the languages really hard, and i am only just okay at chinese and korean. it would take years to be as fluent as a native speaker, but i like your posts so i'm not trying to start a language war. what i guess i meant was for a skate rat from a dirt poor area he has come a long way, so i'll tip my hat to the guy. plus he rips...i wish he would just cut down on the body varials and airwalks.

Nah, the owner of a local shop who's in the united program told me. He's usually pretty on point with this kind of stuff, though.

Anyways, bummed that Billy lost, David Gonzales pisses me off.Also, Geoff should have been in the game with Ellington, not Kelly.
