If you're going to be full time baking, I'd recommend sticking exclusively to live resin carts, as they are way more efficient, only contain flower and the whole plant at that, and taste like the strain you get. At least in my experience.
When I started working at my shop I was super into distillate carts because it was all that I knew. My apartment neighbor at the time also happened to be a sheriff, so vaping was the best way to go about my consumption. I also hadn't gotten my med card yet.
As the sheriff moved out, I got WAY more into flower and tasting strains. Fast forward to 7 months in the industry, and I'm kind of a cork sniffer weed snob. We just got a WHOLE bunch of trade samples, which is my favorite perk of the job. All the grows are Michigan-based only, so I'll take a second and nerd out on what the companies call their strains (one in particular, Lemonati Farms usually runs alot of the same strains every year and rename it based on their annual "series", which can be confusing) and the crosses. Won't you join me?
Lemonati Family Farms
The Patient-Wedding Cake x Gelato 33
The Caregiver-Strawberry Shortcake x Sunset Sherbert
The Grower-Zkittles x Wedding Cake
Glorious Cannabis Co (new company I'm not very hip to)
ZOZ-Zkittles x OG Kush
TKP-Triangle Kush x Purple Pebbles
I've tried all the Lemonati strains, and they're listed in my favorite order. The GCC strains I haven't sampled yet, but am stoked to try a new grow and new strains.
