Nike knows their thing and they could easily have gotten people to pay 1500 for that shoe package if they wanted to and if they desperately needed the extra money. To me though, its still weird how people can justify the 1000 dollar retail and even weirder how other people will pay the double in 6 months to get ahold of a pair.

I'd pay 200 bucks for a pair of shoes if I really wanted them, but not a 1000 unless it guaranteed naked model chicks in my bed every night. But they dont care that much about whats on my feet, so I wont.

If you have enough money to buy that set, you probably have enough money to not give a fuck. I can't imagine anyone with a sensible relationship to money spending that much for something like this.

But apparently limited edition collabo shoes are now considered an investment, so I could be wrong.

one of my mates actually managed to get through uni by selling alot of collectable/limited edition shoes, hed buy them and leave them in the box until he needed money then sell a pair for around £200 whenever he wanted, kinda wish i hadnt skated almost all of my shoes now.
wonder if the nike sb dunk hi x skate mental will be worth anything in the future, only "fresh" limited shoes i have left

I do this all the time.....it's awesome. Buy a pair at retail (usually dunks around $90-$110) wait a few months and AT LEAST double my money. $1,000 isn't bad at all considering some dumbass will inevitably re-buy them a year or 2 later for three to four times the amount.

seen a dude wearing the black/white/grey Koston's today. I tried to ask him about them, but he was being a coolguy so I just vibed him out the rest of the time. they look stoops good in person though.
