The Kalis and the Lynx look like they'd feel kind of similar to skate, but they are wayyy different experiences. The kalis is a solid rubber brick that doesn't break in, and the Lynx turns into a dunk after a couple days.

Yeah also a reason why you never see pros who skated during that period wearing shoes like that. Kalis doesn't skate in his reissue, Mariano doesn't skate giant bulky shoes, Carroll sure as hell wouldn't skate Embarkos. It's cause those shoes sucked for skating then and they still do.

Don't get me started on the Legacy. Lynx is definitely skateable, but there's current shoes that look and skate better, Kalis is maybe skateable, but same deal. Legacy looks and feels like shit.

And Kalis has skated his reissues for sure, I think he skates all his shoes, even if he’s usually on a Kalis Lite kick. Which is cool because 5 years ago he was surprised people could skate the Lites, yet now it’s primarily what he wears.

Saw these in person when the Cons rep was at my local. The toe box stitching is different than the lows and they are using a new insole that will be in certain models. I don’t know if there is a name for it but it was way more cushioned than the zoom insoles

I've been interested in these since I saw the ad in thrasher. I like them and will probably give them a go. Would prefer they release more all suede Fastbreaks if they're going to do more mids. I'm stocking up on those just in case.

I wish that was what LL did. The mids have the court shoe toe while the original lows have the one piece. Besides the side wall having the same logo placement, the shoes will have different feels aside from the mid top. Would have preferred they kept the one piece...

If they are using the same leather as the mid top Tyshawns then it's pretty thin but there are multiple layers and a plastic underneath that I've yet to put a hole through. Pretty durable shoe just rips up fast so it doesn't look too good after a few hard sessions.
