i have an old mongoose from the early 90s. they were supposed to be really good back then. but then they got sold around a lot and i think their name is now licensed to make dept. store bikes mostly. and i think they still make some legacy bmx stuff. in the very early stages of bmx mongoose was something like their powell peralta i think.

Man I’m into those. They look like a wino and the figgy (when you run them with out laces) had a baby and the baby wanted to look like a Dylan. I'm liking those emericas. I agree the eyelet is kind of pointless but it still looks good. My question though is why does emerica have to put the pros name in big letters on the tongue? Does everyone really need to see SPANKY on my shoe? At least the Servold slip cups were embossed but even that is unnecessary when the shoe is so clean otherwise. These look to have gone back to white lettering and you can't even see the whole name anyway. What's the point?

I feel like those Servolds look a lot more like they came from the State/Dekline designers, not Gravis/Dylan. I agree with whoever commented on the decorative stitching...way too much all around. Clean it up

I think it’s the standard halfcab from last year / autumn. Nice color way - but material sucks for skating. Prefer suede - so i just rock them non-skating.
