Just quick update on the Crockett decons . They’re comfy Cush apparently. So not really skateable. But I am very happy with that.

RIP Bubblegum Tate, he would have loved this ebay seller I found with all the Japanese Asics skate shoes that you can't get in North America yet.

They're pretty expensive because they're coming from Japan, but they got the ugly ones AND the normal looking ones, and you can at least check out proper product shots.


That brown and orange one (which also comes in black and white) looks interesting - it's suede on the outside of your foot and some kind of nylon/mesh on the inside, like those Bruins that Nike did a couple years ago (I want to say they were an Ishod colourway?).

Asics should be hitting shops (I'm told only 20 in the US) in 4 deliveries beginning this June.

I forgot what other company was doing it to, but WHHHHHHHHYYYYYYYYYYY do the splitting with the sole, aside from giving the shoe more of an ability to flex? The Westgate G6 actually did it well, the bottom was the only part "split" but still had a solid sidewall for gripping without sacrificing durability.

"Hey, you like ripped laces? Want easily ripped shoes to go along with them? I got these soles that create easy rip areas in your shoe...they wont even last weeks before you gotta swap them out from your toes being fully ezposed, that not even shoe goo can save the shoe!"

Was never a NB lover, but NB# brought me around to liking the brand.   ASICS SB isn’t really working in that same way.  Logo/branding is just way too much.   Curious what the people who whinge about the presence of the swoosh think about this amount of real estate being taken up
