This. While I find those socks totally stupid, I'm glad it's not made by some wannabe streetwear brand like Trukfit or Neff or something like that, and that is HUF who must be getting some big fucking margins and profit thanks to some Sneakerhead/Nofuture fanboys.
Actually adopting the strategy to produce some high margin products for this kind of consumer seems totally appropriate in my opinion.

not like 90's raver baggy, but we are shying away from slimmer pants more and more each day. especially with the whole Dickies trend going on, kids are favoring less slim pants these days. I'm backing it.

Skaters always want something super traditional with just a tiny bit of an accent to differentiate it - but it's an incredible fine line, and with the bullshit on the back of the heel, they crossed it. I could of gotten over the stupid graphic on the tongue and ripped/cut that shit out...but like Peg Leg said, this release isn't for us.

i'd like to see more arch support and protection being built into upcoming shoes. That westgate looks like it has some arch protection, but it could just be a design feature and not a function. I'm talking like something that shows up in a ton of shoes heels, something that disperses impact. I rarely bruise my heels, but often bruise my arches.

im no doctor, but i dont think lack of arch support would bruise your arches. too much arch support probably would.

shoe companies cant really include alot of arch support because everyones arches are so different

The Westgate looked like it had so much potential until I realized it was just a shitty Emerica silhouette on a cool sole. Emerica shoes look really cheaply made.  I think it's the suede.
