Does the Riley 2 have a slip on variant or something cause the catalog shows it as having laces. Take off the motor head logos and I’d rock those hard though.

They have two holes but looks like this shoe is like the Figueroa, Probably you can use them with and without laces.

On vacation sans 2 year old with the wifey in San Diego.  Hit up Pacific Drive today, and they have a super dope shoe wall.  It’s like the old days in there.  Tried on Reynolds G6, DC Tiago, and Es swift 1.5.  All fit true to size. 

Reynolds G6 isurprised me in a not very good way.  They’re really thick and pretty bulky, felt like too much for me even though I like solid shoes. 

DC Tiago feel really good, but the pair I tried on had a little warp/wave by the pinky toe, which would’ve driven me nuts skating. 

Ended up walking out with the Swift 1.5.  Crazy comfy and feel like they’re gonna skate amazing.  Can’t believe I just bought a pair of Es’s At a skatehsop like it’s fuckin 2002.

It’s a good time for skate shoes right now even if you’re not into the floppy Vulc shit.

I regret to inform all of you that, much like the Grinch's heart, my shiny new Es swift 1.5s grew two sizes over the course of a night of heavy footed drinking in the great city of San Diego and I don't think i'll be able to skate them without lacing them Rambo tight.  Sole tech always gets me with the nostalgia and then loses me with the immediately disintegrating heel and quarter.  Sigh.... I will still chill in them and remember the amazing afternoon we had at the beach.

the jovantae inspired lakai shoe looks alot like lucas' second lakai. overall good catalog, but how many people will be wearing that jovantae shirt in public, i know its an iconic skate graphic but it seems like a risk.

dvs making a shoe called the switch plus? do they know dc has a model called the same thing.
