Wats the deal with the rowleys? why is it so coveted?

The original was perfectly weighted and padded, had an excellent toe shape, and was durable and comfortable. Add to it some distinguishing features like the double bumper and accent panels, and it's easy to see why it's so beloved.

Lakai catalog looks great. That one Proto colorway is so bad it's good and the Atlantic looks reaallyy neat.

I'm especially hyped on that State/Wknd collab though, the black Harlem uptown seems like a must cop.

Based off the lens of seeing it through junior high eyes, the Rowley seemed like it saved Vans from becoming/continuing to become lame like Airwalk

vault has been around a lot longer than that off-white junk...

...and they're way higher quality, they're like double wrapped vulc so the soles don't bag out and get mushy on ya...had a pair of the style 238's (essentially a sk8-hi with no sidestripe and a ollie patch) for like 4 months and they felt great until i decided it was time to skate another of the 16 pairs of shoes taking up space in my closet...

...but the mashup of all those shoes just looks fuckin' dumb. i think we can all agree on that.
