What's up with all the ollie guards? I thought that trend died like three years ago.. Usually it just breaks the silhouette like in the otherwise clean Emerica shoe..

Those Brown AA vans might be mine when they drop.. I kinda wish they had dropped like 2009 or so but now is as good as a time as ever..

This news about the AAs is heart wrenching. I had the slips and was planning on getting brown and blues. Gotta figure out how to make it happen. At least one of the colorways.

Vans is just trying to follow that super limited hypebeast fuckboi first edition holographic release business model like Nike. Won't even be able to buy normal pro series before too long. We'll have to wait for the special edition ones with the Braille/revive logos in some gimmicky allover print.

I think Proper is still trying to sell out the first wave of releases before doing new colorways/materials/models. Proper has posted on Twitter asking what people want in the next release, but it was a few weeks ago.
