Hey guys,

Yeah the Tilt is a vulc with the G6 foam insoles and the same Flick Shield as The Dickson.

Regarding the court shoe, it's the Gamma which was an Emerica shoe from 97 so it's a reissue that we just modified a little bit. Hope you guys like them.

Fuck yeah regarding the Gamma! I look forward to seeing what they look like in this era. Would love to rock them with some light blue denim and a white shirt

Air bubbles in skate shoes were in fact mostly just flashy bs. But anyone who has worn air max's knows that air bubbles are not bs in essense. The strobel board and midsole play a big factor in how an air bubble will function. For example, on my pretty stiff Jordan 4's or Air Force Max 93's you can't really feel the bubble with ever step like you would in runner. I can attest that standing for extended periods of time is definitely made more comfortable with an air unit. Fun fact: all the air units nike puts in their shoes are actually made in the USA. Clearly not the rest of the shoe but those parts are.

I never even skated suede accels until a few years ago. When I was in highscool I always bought the synthetic leather ones.

Not the first they’ve done a shoe with an air max inspiration for an SB shoe.

Come on guys, I didn’t meant an SB shoe. I don’t think they would ever retro the airmax 1, for example, with no airbubble. (The SB interpretation doesn’t count). Although Nike sometimes does some terrible retros...
 
I feel like the best wait to introduce an modern version of an archive shoe is to do a 1 to 1 retro along with it. DC legacy OG, DC legacy slim; éS accel OG, éS accel slim, DC Williams OG, DC Williams Slim or in this case could be something kinda like the DC Kalis OG and the Kalis Vulc. It just pleases all the crowds. The purists are happy and the ones that cant pull it off will most likely go for the more modern version. Win Win.

I found these at a flea market years ago, dead stock somewhere.

They were nice for a cupsole.

Dc is really the only shoe company doing reissues right. They drop the og shoe and a nice Vulc version of it not two bastardized versions of it that are either puffy mall shoes or slimmed down to being uncomfortable as fuck (looking at you accel)

Any word on the Crocketts yet? Haven't heard as much as a peep from anyone involved and a lot of dudes seemed to be excited for it. I get wanting to push back the release for a time but it's kinda bad practice to keep posting about other shoes while not addressing an actual pro model slated to drop 3 weeks ago.

Yeah not sure what's going on. Vans website hasn't updated any pro skate models since that first SS drop. Have a giftcard and coupon so kind of waiting for that next wave. Also, vans stores and outlets are shut down near me since covid
