I had mine when they first came out and now that I'm doing the math in my head that had to have been pre-2010 probably? But anyway the glue came undone almost immediately and the whole outsole fell off. I tried to get a replacement set but no one ever got back to me and I got butthurt and quit buying Emerica. I remember hearing later that they had a lot of production issues in that time and got it under control shortly after. Been really happy with Vans lately but thinking I want to give these a shot.

I think 2012 and before, emerica had absolute shit quality but around 2013 (Leo laced, west gate) their models became very high quality. Westgate was a great shoe, not a fan of the Leo laced but man they were stupid durable.

Those colorways are so trash. What I would expect to see a meth head wearing in line at the gas station to buy off brand cigarettes. Oof.

Well pals, if they do put out a decent colorway I wouldn’t mind trying them. I wonder how the sizing will be... I would put my money on them running a 1/2 size smaller than a dunk but I’ll wait and see.

The decision making on the Carroll colorways is also suspect. The first run had an all black with light blue highlights. They basically redid that colorway and switched the light blue with neon yelllow. I don't know what that grey/lightblue/orange colorway is. I could see that making sense if it was a throwback to an original colorway, but it's not. That was never a thing.

How can you mess up the Carroll and Telford colorways. You can literally look back and see what sold well.

As for DVS, I feel bad that their riders wear some shit shoes. Fallen looks like looking back in time to when they were “current” shoes. They’re caught in some nostalgia attempting to be modern trap. Hopefully they can trim the fat and reaching out for colorway inputs from fans is an okay idea. Lazy but it may help with sells.

But they have American flag shoes too so you can't say they're biased against any particular imperial war machine or side of WW2 .
