that LV shit is one of the stupidest things i’ve seen in forever (however, get your bag) but imagine having a shoe as a pro skater that nobody in your community will buy or interact with. sus

I think that shoe looks like shit but I imagine if I got a pro shoe on Louis Vuitton I'd be walking around with my dick hanging out like "Check me the fuck out I have a pro skate shoe on Louis Vuitton!" and not give a fuck if anyone in my community interacted with it.

I wouldn't be surprised if they released those LV shoes at a high price relative to skate shoes, but an affordable price.
I could see them going for $130-150 US and being branded as an athletic shoe and not a high fashion shoe for some loophole to not discredit the insanely high priced items.

Or they'll be $1500 bucks and this is the 1st and only time we'll see them.

This. I’m interested in seeing all the follow-up articles, interviews, and thinkpieces that’ll come from this too. It is a really unique move for high fashion. I’m also just interested in seeing how it’s marketed, hearing about the features, etc.

Price will be interesting too. Are they going for skaters willing to spend a little more or are they going for people who buy high fashion sneakers and are used to spending in the thousands but now get even more streetwear and skating cache?
