Tried to search for it and might just be stupid, but whatever happened to those sporty looking Adidas - FA collab shoes? If I remember right there was one hideous neon pink and yellow one and then one that I think was almost like the Tiago NB# colorway white/blue/black/yellow w/ gum sole. Think people were posting pics back in like May or so but don't remember anything ever coming of it.

These? Yeah, there was other loud colors but no idea what happened to them. Could have been pushed back due to covid.

A friend of mine works at the Hollywood store, he had a photo of an all black with white details back in February. They looked pretty sick. Definitely pushed back from Covid, but hopefully they get released. Would enjoy a pair.

I fucked with those red cons with the leaf print until I realized it was a realtree collab. Not really trying to show support for a company that is based on killing animals for fun. Also they make realtree maga hats.

I don't back MAGA, but to be fair it doesn't look like real tree is making those, looks more like the real tree "blanks" are being used to embroider on by whoever is making the MAGA hats.

The SPV sole was pretty thin but that was my favorite shoe of all time. I wish they would reissue it. I believe it had some vegan options too. The pair I had definitely seemed like synth suede.

got my hand on those last resort shoes yesterday.
I didn't expect much but the sole is thin af, thinner than a classic vans.
Laces seemed a bit close together

Also listening to the ~21 year old shop rats talk about how they were finessing unemployment had me laughing hard.

Vans SPV was for sure my favorite shoe, and yes super thin but I felt like it held up decently. I heard that the cost was too much for them to make for that price, like, not worth it to Vans corporate. But, would be a blessing if they came back.
