anyway, I had the Los Angered 11 hi top. Could be a really good shoe with some small tweaks like a padded collar and the sole was too soft for me but it looks updated now. It's all just vulc shoes at the end of the day though.

I saw them on brad cromer's story a few days ago, forgot to take a screenshot but they looked pretty good from what little I could see

Really, really well made shoe. Fits nice TTS, and has an amazing insole. Would skate multiple pairs.
Since everybody hates Globe in the US, you can usually find deals. Got these for $28.

My go to shop had the liazon and they apparently don’t make half sizes. Apart of that and the monstrosities they release (see those mid tops and the puffy shoes). I don’t have a problem and look forward to the rebrand.

I'm running these right now. Few sessions in and they are really solid. The toe cap rubber is pretty firm and doesn't take long to get adjusted to compared with Cons. The heel pull tab is a nice touch too, actually makes getting hi tops on easier.

To chime in here, the quality of the 2 more recent Globes I've had have definitely far surpassed any of the vans I've had. Haven't skated these GS Chukka's because I fucked up my back but been wearing them around a bunch. Can definitely see why Austyn went with Globe when you look at their plain looking shoes. He will be able to make a Dylanesque dress shoe model I'm sure.

Some nice Globe Midtops over the last year or so but I've always been hesitant buying a pair not k owing what the quality was like these days.

It would not surprise me at all to find out some Braille kids are buying Globe because they talk about how cool Rodney Mullen is. Beyond that, Rodney deserves to get as much money as he can from wherever it comes from.

new Emerica model? I grabbed from jpow's story. looks like a cup version of the old Reynolds Low vulc with some slight changes. also looks like the Dose/Alcove CC sole.
