Would someone be able to inform me on what makes any of the adidas models "ADV" anymore? I understand what it was trying to do when they first had shoes coming out with that in the shoe name...but fuck, what is the actual difference in these vs. a non "ADV" model? Or has it really boiled down to just adding it with no added quality to the shoe?

They generally have some updates but not much. Different materials and stuff like that usually. A friend of mine got a normal pair of forums and I couldn't distinguish them from the ADV's

You’re better off just skating the forum 84s those have premium materials and fits better the regular 84s feels cheaper and the ADV updates materials

We heard you want to buy Vans but don't like the way they skate or fit so we offered a completely new model with no detriment to the rest of our line that might appeal to you by trying something different while still making it look like a Vans shoe

Straight facts, but I was really hoping they'd stick with the standard formula for her; that way I could just order some without overthinking it. Hopefully they're a massive success

These look great! I have another pair of Adidas with that sole and it's probably too thin for me to skate.
Hopefully these aren't too limited, seems like people aren't lining up for any of the "vintage" Busenitz models and you can find them still.

Damn dream come true with them putting this style out again, hopefully they keep it in the line-up this time... the Busenitz would be basically the only shoe I skate but the normal sole on em is so miserable.

I think he has a whole “line” coming out, but just asked after the half cabs bc that’s the only one I’m aware of. Think he might have a lampin c/w.

I’m surprised. Aren’t they a better version because they have tongue centering straps and are made of nicer materials?
