I don't mind the sole on these at all but I really, really hate the ribbon strung on the side of those

The sole I can live with because I liked the Selsa's, however...the toe...why? I like shoes with a toe box, like the accel slim (one of my favorites in their line up since coming back), but WHY have it be disconnected from the ollie area paneling. It's literally giving the griptape a free spot to start tearing up for no reason, especially since the area it disconnects, is where a lot of people use for kickflips.

I was only trying to imply that the Sesla's sole being different and more runner inspired makes me not see these soles as an issue. Still, the upper...the ribbon stuff reminds me of one of Filament's team models, and the toe cap...fuck no

I don’t even like Vans but I’m sure I’ll inevitably buy these this week.  The eras/authentics/skate highs run a little big right?

I've found most "skate" versions of vans fit true to size, but the classics fit large.
