@Jud Nestorkins well let’s put it this way, even if the monks are fucking disgusting (I didn’t really think they were when they dropped) they are still better than that “tech” vans model that was posted a few pages back. I’m all for diving into the archives, but you’ve gotta go for stuff that people actually wore…

I never owned the Monks but I am seeing a lot of potential for some kind of Jordan / dunk look or even a nice update with a Berle type thickness. Side note a AVE 6 update would be nice that Era on an Old Skool Frame was amazing.

Am I in the minority here? I liked a good amount of Lakai’s models in those catalogs. I think the Trudger looks sick and will probably look better on foot than it did here. Some of those color ways are not good though.

I’m digging the Evo 2 XLK, Trudger, and Cambridge Mids.

I would probably wear the trudged or the mid Cambridge’s. But damn the giant flare on the side ruins most lakais. They should just do stitching outline only or something to calm it down some. Like the first rowans where the jazz strike was just the stitching outline.

These could have been great but they are bad.
They look like an early sketch of a design that did not matured.
Also, with the design of the different layers and the double stitching you know the shoe is not going to age well.
And the sole on these is just wrong. They should have use the Telford sole.

Edit: It seems that they used Cordura instead of Canvas, and I think that's a great idea, the durability may be ok.
