Yeah seemed like they were all revved up and ready to release them. But I have a $25 off in store coupon that starts Sept 9, from when I bought my tyson wayvee's. Might check out the Drew Half Cabs afterall.

The subheadline of that article says the 15th, but the last sentence of it STILL says the 1st. I guess it's the 15th, since today is the 1st and I don't see them anywhere, but I wish they'd get their story straight and also sell me those Half Cabs immediately.

I’m wondering how many more times Puma can dip their toes in the skate market (but just the tip). They’ve tried so many times in the past but never fully commit. I’m sure this Butter collab is more or less just happening because of Butter goods and wanting to do the collab. puma's a weird one for sure. last time i was in a store of theirs (over 10 years ago) it was car  collabs and it appears to still be, but they branched out a bit it seems with some others. but still what you said about how it was because butter wanting to do it really seems to be puma's MO, at least that's the vibe i get off of their stuff.
oh plus i think deep inside puma still has an issue with being seen too similar to adidas

I pretty much only skate in regular Puma Suedes at the moment. They’re the perfect skate shoe in my opinion. It was a thing for people my age in the 90s… Rick and Mike rocking them got me psyched. Donger too. I try to forget the Brezinski/Lasek period and pretend they never had a skate team. Just good quality suede sport shoes that skate well and look dope.

I grew up in the 90’s and skated Puma baskets a few times because a store called Montgomery Wards had them and it was like 10 minutes away from where I lived (my mom hated ordering stuff and she had a charge card for that store lol). I honestly loved skating them. I always wanted clydes and suedes but at that time, I had no where to buy them. About 10 years ago I bought an old pair of blue suede/gum sole suede’s off of eBay and skated in them a few times. They were a little narrow for my foot but we’re still a good skate shoe.

I had the same question, almost bought Sambas this weekend but I was worried they wouldn't last without material under the toe. Anyone know if the new ones are double layered?
