Vans is bringing back the Chukka Low, Could be those

The Chukka Low strangely has never left their catalog! Always looks like they've been available at such fine core establishments as Zumiez and Pac Sun, haha. Vans seems so jazzed on the Chukka Low that they put out a second version with a sidestripe recently

I'm pretty sure this is a reissue of the very first DCs that ever came out. There was a Danny shoe and a Colin shoe, and i think this was the Colin? They reissued the first Danny's a couple years ago.

No. It definitely has those vibes, but the first Colin Mckay shoe had way more panelling.

This is for sure the Striker model with those logos on it.

And yes, they got a cease and desist for that logo which is what makes me think this is just a one-off sample thing.

Think these are friends and family for the Lynx they just did, funny that DC ceased and Desisted POP when they flipped this logo for a T-shirt. Nice full circle story.

The story here is that Pop Trading Company did a flip on that DC logo and received a C&D from DC. Now they're doing a collaboration on two other shoes and dropped these, with a print out of the C&D they received, as a friends & family release.

Between these and the new shoes in the DC ad in the Tyshawn thrasher issue - I’m inching toward snagging a pair of DC’s for the first time since high school. Love that silhouette and I’m a sucker for a navy suede/white sole combo.
